"Panasonic steals the high ground with a feature-bursting Full HD plasma that covers all the bases and a few others too. " What Satellite & Digital TV.

The Panasonic TXP46G20 has impressed reviewers and buyers alike, so we're delighted to be able to offer this killer deal! Earning top marks for both picture quality and features, it's fair to say that the Panasonic TXP46G20 is one of the most impressive TVs in its class; and that was when it cost well over £1000! Offering both freesat HD and the new Freeview HD, the TXP46G20 has all you need for HD TV. Simply connect a satellite dish for a wide range of freesat HD channels and/or connect a digital TV compatible aerial for Freeview and Freeview HD (coverage dependant).

Yet the Panasonic TXP46G20 isn't just about being one of the most flexible 46 inch TVs to date, it's also about viewing pleasure. Panasonic have combined 600Hz Sub-field Drive technology with their own image-analysis technology to create super-smooth images, whatever the format. With an amazing contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1, a new filter system and the now famous Self-Illuminating Pixels, the VIERA TXP46G20 gives inky deep blacks to trump just about anything in its class. Deep blacks are a plasma strength but perhaps more surprising are the vivid colours and bright white images. Truly, the TXP46g20 is an impressive all rounder. If you need further assurance that the TXP46G20 has one of the very best video performances in its class you need look no further than the THX certification. THX are a separate body, connected to Lucas films, who test and monitor video and audio performance. Simply put, in order for a TV to be THX certified, the performance has to be exceptionally good in a whole raft of areas. The Panasonic TX-P46G20 is just such a TV.

Fantastic TV. Was double this a year ago. Have the LGPK 50 590 but would have preferred this set. Awesome deal and TV.

Now thats even better than the 50 inch one plus 10% for the 5yr cover.....must not buy....

Superb price if they have any stock!

Amazing set

Recommend putting 46" in the title as some people don't realise it's in the model code!

I wish i had a richer sounds near me, anyone found it this price online?

hmmm...cant decide between this or an iPad 2

Aaah, so tempting. I got a TH46PZ80B for 800quid from a hotukdeals link a little over 2 years ago now and it's still a lovely set, but so tempting to upgrade.

Just as a side the 5 year warranty with Richer sounds is far far better than JL etc and worth taking out

*They will come to you house and try and repair it
*The will pick it up and return it to you home if it needs to be taken away.
*And most importantly it does not depreciate in value (With JL it depreciates 20% each year, so a 600 pound TV, is only worth 480 pound after a year, 384 after 2 years, 308 after 3 years, 250 after 4 years, 200 by 5 years)

Personally I would annoyed if I got a top of the range telly and the warranty would only allow a replacement half the value after a few years. Richer sounds will replace your TV with the current equivalent model (brand and feature wise)

LOL!!! i'd get this

I have a 42G10 and wondering if I should upgrade. Trouble is i dont know if this is much of an improvement or how much I would get for the G10 - any ideas?

if you have the room I would much prefer the 50' for the extra 4 inches for £49 more

but I always get really used to the size TV and end up wishing id got a bigger TV

Could I connect this TV to my existing sky dish to receive freesat HD even though my sky dish is being used and connected to my Sky+ (non HD) box?

Yes, as long as you've got a spare feed from the sky dish, if not fit a quad lnb

I had no idea JL warranty didn't offer this, thanks for pointing out.

ave some awesomeness...if only i could sell 4 month sony 37 kdl ex503u..bah!

Is that true about JL warranty? Their price match is a scam but I didn't know the warranty was very unfair.
What is M&S warranty like? Maybe I should have looked at that before purchase - oops.
( I know Costco's warranty can't be beat!)

Simply google avforums and JL warrenty and you will find alot of unhappy TV customers with problems over their warranty and what JL have offer as compensation for their faulty TV

I was unlucky to have a faulty laptop. Even though covered under warranty I had to do all the leg work (phoning manufacturer to pick it up, pay for repair and then get it reimbursed from JL). Not great for a company that prides it self on customer service.

Not sure on M&S. On face value it looks very good, however I dont think they have been selling TVs long enough for people to test their warranty out properly.

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with richer sounds

Got this tv today from there Norwich branch, great tv.

Picked up one of the last sets in London yesterday. Old TH46PZ80 is still a lovely set but this is a noticeable step up. Gracias for the find

I reserved one of these on this deal at my local Richer Sounds - then my wife vetoed the deal on the grounds that 46 inches is "too big". Absolutely gutted.

Managed to get her to agree to the 42 inch V20 from John Lewis at £729 (price match with rgbdirect), so not too unhappy.

Totally agree with what has been said about the Richer Sounds warranty.

Got this last week and was blown away with the picture, however it had to go back because of the annoying buzz with bright pictures. This seems to be very subjective as it bothered the hell out of me but didn't bother the other members of the family.
Theres plent of details on the web about it, apparently panasonic has a fix but I couldn't be bothered to sort it all out (having engineers out etc)
Just something to keep in mind.

Not sure if they're still doing it, but I bought a 42v20 from rgbdirect with a 5yr panny direct warranty for £699.

Just spoken to my local branch @ Southampton. The two left in stock had been reserved so ordered one for delivery at an extra £25. They said there were nearly 400 back at the warehouse so plenty of stock, even if not in store.

I also had no idea the John Lewis warranty depreciated like this.
