Opinions are valid, but if it isn't for you surely you can just ignore and move on to something that might interest you?
Never quite understood why there were queues outside their shops. The mass produced stuff is overpriced tat or am i wrong?

We have one near us. There are only ever queues at XMAS and Valentines day. For the rest of the year it's a shock if you see anyone other than the staff standing in the store.

Same with Swarovski. Both seem to survive on those two days of the year :/

FYI - Was browsing this sale and then Googled the pieces I wanted to buy and found them cheaper on Amazon.

I wouldn't buy Pandora from Amazon. I had an official Pandora spacer from the shop and ordered an identical one from Amazon (sold and fulfilled by Amazon). On its own you wouldn't notice anything amiss but next to each other you could see the Amazon one was fake. I returned for a refund. Pandora limit who stocks their items so if the seller isn't on their list of stockiests they are more than likely fakes. If you're happy with the price knowing it's more than likely fake fair enough, just bare in mind the warranty is nil and void if you use fake charms on their products.

Amazon aren't selling fakes. Marketplace sellers on Amazon, yeh sure. But not Amazon. Thanks for your thoughts.

Amazon co-mingle stock with "fulfilled by amazon" marketplace sellers, so they do on occasion ship fakes even when buying from them directly. Usually fine but worth being vigilant.

All I can comment on is my experience. And 100% My Sold AND fulfilled by Amazon Pandora purchase was Fake. Unless you are suggesting that the official Pandora stores are the ones who are selling counterfeit versions of their brand rather than the unauthorized stockiest

You're forgetting mother's Day
Theres only a queue in mine because its small shop and let only certain amount of people in.
When this fad ends these items that cost £40- £50 each will sell for scrap value.
My wife's sits in a draw and never sees daylight.
What a waste of money. Just my opinion.buy gold or premium bonds.

Not quite true. Amazon supplied products arent always purchased directly by amazon. There have been some serious issues of fake goods from amazon. Ranging from ssds to watches.

Everyone says that on here, but whenever I look it up I can never find any information about fakes sold by Amazon. I can easily find dozens of articles about marketplace sellers fulfilled by Amazon who sell fakes, but never sold by Amazon directly.

Do you have a source for this?

Surely that is not true? Everything I have read about Amazon fulfillment says the exact opposite - that stock is independently kept.

You can research further yourself. But those of us who are telling you this are saying it from experience. Certain items i wouldnt touch from anywhere but the actual manufacturer.

Interesting. Some of that article seems to be inaccurate though. I just read this which gives a lot more detailed information:
digitalcommerce360.com/201…ts/

So sellers on Amazon have the choice of whether their stock is "commingled" with stock from other sellers. If they don't want it to be commingled, they have to provide their own label and not rely on the barcode.

I wonder if there is any way as a buyer to determine if the stock is commingled before you make your purchase?

Ok well I'm guessing you don't believe that Amazon themselves would sell fakes but my verified source for fake goods being sold on Amazon by Amazon is in fact myself as I am one of the people who bought them and was caught out

The Seller was Amazon themselves...not a third party seller nor a "fulfilled by Amazon"on behalf of some other seller scenario but sold directly by Amazon...bought some memory cards directly from Amazon and when they arrived they were most definitely fake despite being sealed in authentic looking packaging....luckily I can recognize a fake memory card but unfortunately not everyone can....this was evident when I went and read the reviews for the particular memory card and discovered that the issue had been going on for quite some time with people leaving reviews about it.....emphasizing that Amazon themselves were the seller.

The other scenario where fake products quite often appear is in the Amazon Warehouse....again this is something I have experienced first hand with memory cards....bought them from the Amazon Warehouse in one of the sales and found they were fake when they arrived....in this case they were sold by Amazon EU s.a.r.l.. I can only speculate that this situation may arise due to dishonest people swopping fake items with real ones and then returning the fake one to Amazon...yes the old switcheroo as it is affectionately known on here

Glad that the "deal" police haven't removed your post....when I originally posted the deal I had put links in the description to all the official on-line Pandora stockists in the UK (along with information on their respective delivery charges) as I didn't want people to be caught out by the people selling fakes.

Also thought it made sense for one post to contain all of the official retailers seeing as the prices are generally the same across all of them although stock varies...but the deal police have come along and removed the information & edited the original post's title to remove the reference to the information

Wouldn't care but I spent ages entering all the information so people could make an informed decision about purchasing and where from but think the info was probably removed due to the change in HUKD policy whereby they now only allow one retailer to be mentioned per post...in saying that I suspect if I did individual posts for each Pandora retailer that is offering the same items at the same prices as the official Pandora website then I would end up being accused of spamming the site by other users

I'm not doubting your personal experience, I just could never find any information about the extent of the problem or how it comes to happen, whereas I could find loads of information about fakes from marketplace sellers.

The article I linked to above has a good explanation though. So it sounds like the problem is not that common but does occur - and like you said it's probably more common among certain types of items and on Warehouse Deals.

If you could see which items are commingled then you could eliminate any risk of purchasing fakes.

@tiggerloveslife yeah i put an order in on Tuesday evening that came yesterday. Cant complain at that at all. Put another order in on Friday which is already on its way.

Thanks again
39530389-OXQmY.jpgLooked at their sale on Boxing Day but I was put off with what they had to offer.
Thanks
UPDATE: 3rd January 2020 : FURTHER REDUCTIONS NOW BEING ADDED...UNFORTUNATELY AT THE MOMENT THE FURTHER REDUCTIONS DON'T SEEM TO BE ON EVERY ITEM AND ONLY APPEAR WHEN ADDED TO BASKET SO A CASE OF TRIAL AND ERROR TO FIND OUT WHICH ITEMS ARE FURTHER REDUCED.

As an example though...I added the Rino charm priced at £15 to my basket and price dropped to £12, the Essence necklace priced at £29 dropped to £25.

May be a case they are in the process of updating website and all reduced items will display new prices later on.
Edited by: "tiggerloveslife" 3rd Jan
Oh also can't add the info about further reductions to my Original Post as for some unknown reason I lost the edit option when the MOD of unknown identity changed my original post to suit the latest batch of HUKD policies regarding not mentioning more than one retailer in a post despite the fact I was just giving a list of authorised UK Pandora retailers along with their P & P options so that people didn't end up being conned by the sellers of fakes
