Love Papa Johns. Thanks!

How do you acitvate take 2 tuesday?

Worked it out,
Use code "Taketwosides" then readd "paypal50". This seems to work, but if you add the code "Taketwopizzas" alongside "Taketwosides" and then add the PayPal code it doesn't take 50% off.... I think I'll go for the extra food!

Looks like you can't have both discounts so the PayPal one takes over.... I think

I've just edited my post and you are half right... I might have another go at it, and try to get 2 pizzas 1 side with the paypal code. I've always found the papa johns site to be quite awkward to use!

Agreed, Papa Johns is the best of the chains,
i used to live close to one that did any size pizza any time for £7.99 for collection which was great,
but now i've moved house (150mi away) i'm just outside of my nearest stores delivery range, and they are in the middle of town which makes parking a nightmare for collection so i don't use them

I quite agree

10 inch pizza, chips and can of juice from my local chippy £8 delivered (£2 delivery fee) £4.50 for a 10 inch pizza with 1 topping.. Pizza is half price on thrusday as well. Not only is it cheaper it's much better 😁

Wish I had a local chippy that did a decent pizza, they're awful around here!
Thanks OP, both codes worked a treat:

Your Order1 x Pizza (Half and Half)£21.99
2 x Chicken (Hot Buffalo Wings, Hot Buffalo Wings)£9.98
Total Discount -£15.99
Total £15.98
Nice

I got taketwosides to work but when I add paypal50 it’s saying I need to spend £2 more. Does my basket need to have £20 of pizza in it? Currently £24 with pizza and side.
I can't get the website (on various different browsers and devices) or the app to generate the PayPal button when going through checkout. I get right to the end and there no way of actually proceeding to paying via PayPal. Very odd. I've had this happen before. Sometimes the button is there and sometimes it's not.

Just outside? Ask them about a meeting point that's inside but not in the middle of town.

i've had that mentioned to me before, but from looking at the reviews on Google they are shockingly bad for late delivery,
i dont want to be parked up for 1 hour+ somewhere just for a Pizza

My life, they're awful. I have genuinely never had worse pizza's in my life, and I have tried these guys a few times.

May depend on your franchise (?) but the one near me is amazing.
Great, now everybody knows what Im having for dinner tonight!
These are great thanks op!
Papa Johns is usually the safest bet but for some reason the standard cheese and tomato tastes a lot nicer whereas when you start putting toppings on it doesn't have that same flavour, its well weird, maybe its just my local one or my dodgy taste buds

Highly possible.

Sometimes it just depends on who's working in the back that day, the idea behind these big chains is that the guides, measurements, and ingredient sources are all the same, but sometimes staff (probably a boss looking to saving a little on cost) tend to not go strictly by the book.

Mine is usually okay, plus I can get golden pepperoncini from them too (most have them, but you have to ask!). In fact, the main reason I go there is for the pickled peppers :P..
Not really a good offer when they have 50% off pizzas when you spend £15 available all the time on there website offers page.
I wouldn’t bother, pizza from there gives a bad stomach and sickness
They fund anti LGBT causes so I wouldn't give them any money, not even at half price.
*heat for the deal* wouldn't have know otherwise,

however, I've just placed an order with Papa Johns but this time forgot in my haste to add the dips (bit of a crime if i don't and likely to be hung drawn and quartered by my missus if they are not there!)

Called the store and 3 times someone picked up the phone and deliberately hung up, got through on the 4th try and the guy on the other end of the phone didn't even say hello, i immediately had shouted down my ear 'I'm very busy what do you want'

Explained to him i just needed dips adding to the order and which order it was; his response 'you'll get everything you want' and put the phone down.

I appreciate there might me an increased demand and people are busy, short staffed etc, but rude is rude and that was downright disgusting especially in a service industry. As they say, if you can't handle the heat stay out of the kitchen (no pun intended)
Still expensive

As much as I love their pizza, Papa John is no where near as good as Domino's in terms of customer service, reliability and general customer experience.
They seriously need to take a leaf out of Domino's book. Their website and order tracker is fantastic. And I can't remember the last time I had a Domino's that wasn't red hot and arrived in more than 30 mins.
Papa John's - usually luke warm and closer to 1 hour.
Yet I keep ordering PJ's as I love their huge XXL pizzas and special garlic dip
Out of Dominos, PizzaHut and Papa Johns , Papa Johns gets the last place!

I can honestly say after what I've just received, I think I'm re-evaluating my love of PJ's. Took them over an hour and a half to deliver too.

- Dips I asked for didn't arrive anyway (which I kinda expected)

- Sausage & Pepperoni with hardly any pepperoni and actually had spicy beef? and ham? on it (all of which looks like they threw it up in the air and took pot luck on where/if it landed)

- Half & Half Mexican and BBQ Chicken; the Mexican half had no topping, just spicy tomato and the bbq chicken side was black, bubbled up cheese and an excess of BBQ sauce.....Most of this went in the bin

I'm trying to be forgiving given just how much the UK is on meltdown, but it's really difficult when you receive crap like that.

That's terrible. Papa John's seem to basically have no control over their franchises.

Same here. Tried three browsers on my desktop and two on my phone.
Oh well probably for the best anyway.
Tastes better with some corona

You want to try a different Papa John's...
Still expensive, And don't find papa John's that great
Had my first Papa John's and it was ok to good, I probably won't buy from them again. I combined the paypal offer with the topcashback £1 off bonus cashback so a reasonable price compared to the normal price but Domino's is more of a treat and a bit cheaper. I'm not the greatest pizza fan preferring curries for my takeaway or fish and chips. I'd heard Papa John's were the best but I'd rate them ok. Admittedly I haven't tried all the flavours but I tried the flavour most likely to be the best for me based on what I buy from Domino's etc. Seemed to have lots of vegetarian and vegan options though which perhaps is why they are so highly rated.

I'd rate them about the same as those custom pizza's you can have made in Asda. Domino's definitely seem better I'd give them 8/10 compared to maybe 5/10 for papa johns. This is based on the Papa John's in Yeovil which admittedly has only been in business a few months but I would imagine its more about the standard ingredients they use which is probably the same for all Papa Johns.
