a very warm welcome to hukd newbie.thanks for taking the time to share your deal with us today.have some heat. :)
cheers Op used this tonight and thy also offered me the discounted chicken sides for £3 instead of £5 at checkout. Happy days and hope it lasts.
Did you ever actually read more than the headlines of that story? Because whilst he may have been silly to say it at all, and was right to resign as chairman to avoid damaging the company, the context in which he used it was in no way mocking black people. He was moaning about being given media training and not being able to speak his mind, and quoted Colonel Sanders using that word as an example of how other people had said much worse things and not gotten any bad publicity for it. It's not like he got caught doing a Hulk Hogan, slagging off black people using that word in private. He was on a conference call at the time, with a bunch of people listening. It was a stupid thing to say, but not racist.
Complain! Get another one for free! The managers get right ticked off when you complain since it comes out of their customer satisfaction stats. I've seen how many pizzas a busy store makes on a fri/sat night, saying a pizza is en route when it's just made it to the oven. I could also say something about the brutal working conditions on the "make" line, guys from India here on student visas(?), probably illegal but they want the money to send back home and see London etc.
It helped me out! Dinner sorted (y)
Try telling this to Domino's I was on the phone because of an 50% off an 50 pound order they told me I needed order £100 pounds worth told em were to go will be trying this offer at the weekend maybe
Ohh, that will be my own code if I do that.. hmm. Vouchercodes tend not to be unique- I just received that on an email. Maybe check your emails , spam, and any spare/ family accounts?
Can you link to it? All I find on vouchercodes is a 50% off over £20 order (which is probably actually better anyway). I was just hoping that it stacked with their Tuesday deal (which the 50% off deal doesn't).
Still working in Bristol. I agree the min delivery being £12.99 does mean you have to spend more than you want to, it did use to be £10.99. Still a good offer though, I'm using it for the 2nd time in a week tonight. I got XXL Tandoori Chicken with a double topping of pork to make up the value to £13.24.
Minimum spend of £12.99 for delivery (collection is too far for me). You end up spending more than you want to! (embarrassed)
And what about the NFL incident?
He accused Colonel Sanders of calling Blacks the N-word and never faced backlash for it. But media headlines read "John Schnatter uses the N-word" might give people the wrong impression of what he said. The accusations that Sanders used the n-word are unfounded but it's well documented Sanders called Blacks Negros, which at the time was considered fine and the preferred term. Today it wouldn't be of course as too many people used it as a derogatory term.
Said the N-word on a conference call. Of course, but there is no need to say such word especially when he had mentioned it previously. And? Does that give him the right to go effing and blinding? Not his own business. It's a listed firm.
Do you even know what he said? because it seems there are people who are getting some misinformation over this. Context of a word matters. He's pretty much a self made man, and helped build Papa Johns. Now they kicked him out of his own business. Shameful.
They should really take John Schnatter off all marketing...
Its late, but just wanted to say Thank you for an awesome Friday
The mind doesn't boggle when I got to the store and they wouldn't give me 1 pizza and sides saying I need to pay and saying it should cost over £30 no chance
That's why it's expired... (annoyed)
I tried and it doesn't work guys, I'm so hungry
Agreed, had one in the US & didn't like it there either. But girlfriend did, so each to their own!
They are really not.
Heat added. These are really nice pizzas.
Best Pizza i've ever had is my local.Spice Cottage in Easterhouse.16 inch Istanbulian with extra Peperoni and Pineapple.£15 and occasionally get money off with Just Eat.
Is it just me or is 9.99 expensive for a pizza??? Admitadly I've never tried Papa Johns but still.
Unfortunately, limited locations: https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/199-for-a-95-pizza-or-599-instead-of-up-to-1799-for-a-135-pizza-with-up-to-2-toppings-from-papa-johns-save-up-to-86-itison-2995189
There's a deal on here for ItIsOn where you can get a large for £5.99 :) O.P has found a deal though so heat added.
Codes were flying around on Saturday for free large Papa John's pizza. I bagged myself a couple
I’ve added the terms from their site (y)
I saw this too, it was on their web site the other day when I went on to order a pizza via virgin red freebie. Can't see it at the moment so not sure if it's a promo that only appeared on during the footie season or between Thursday to Sunday.
Hi Dark_Lord_Meh. I couldn't see that in the email that I received, but if that is the case do you have a link to that information so I can add it to the original post? Thanks.
I think you had to have spent over £15 between Thursday and Sunday to qualify
I was advised to re-post it so there's a newer deal with the same code. :)
Not expired just used the code!
Thanks, still works 11.11.18
Still WORKS! Oct 12th 8)
It shows as "any large pizza for gbp 9.99" online.
Unfortunately not in my store in Bath
Cold, not in my local store, it's twice that price.
What a rip cold my normal local charged £6.99 for collection today it's £10
£22 ... you could buy a good curry for two people for that price.
Like Papa Johns pizza best but not since he became more politically vocal. Also their app and website are both terrible and I’ve had my order lost or fail on several occasions before or after checkout. Heat for the deal but I don’t want to use these guys any more.
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2018/jul/12/papa-johns-founder-john-schnatter-resigns-over-racial-slur Do yourself an favour and eat salad instead ...
It's better then Domino's haha so good <3 <3
We only do the thin base tbh for that exact reason... And it's fantastic then.
I don't have SKY and I don't remember Homer Simpson using the 'n' word so is it ok if I watch repeats of The Simpsons on Channel 4?
10 quid at papa johns is not a pizza... its 1 slice! Lush pizza but the prices are a laugh
I find it suspicious that existing Quidco members have been targeted yet it's states on the T&Cs..... •Quidco holds a list of account holders eligible for this promotion. Ineligible account holders will not receive communications regarding the promotion from Quidco and will not be entitled to receive the £10 bonus. So if you got an email, you're entitled? But I've been an active Quidco user for years.... •This offer is available for new members with no previous purchases or cashback through Quidco. •The offer is available to new members from 10.00 01/12/2015 to 11:59pm 24/12/2015, or until 2,000 redemptions have been claimed on a first come first serve basis. Not worth it, unless you are ordering anyway
Spend: £10 cash Receive: £10 cash + pizza + £5 charity donation You effectively have free pizza, albeit you have to wait a few weeks for your Cashback. Cashback is pretty much a given if you do it properly (clear cookies and history etc, and are a genuine new customer etc). Heat OP. Not a deal for me but a load of bah humbugs seem to be picking at the deal so have some bonus heat from me.
What a bunch of moany feckers
You would be lucky to get cashback in 3 weeks!
oh.. sorry! I had only gone off what was printed in the newspaper.
I asked them on Facebook out of curiosity and they said they aren't free, bit naughty of the paper to print that.
It's nationwide and it's £3
I saw that via facebook but the advert I saw in Manchester Evening News newspaper says free pizzas are to be given away at 3 of their stores (100 each store) then those not lucky enough to get a free pizza can donate in exchange for pizza as seen in article as posted in post one.x
Are you sure they are free,it reads to me like you have to donate to get one : We’re having a nationwide pizza party and you’re invited! Come down to your local Papa John’s on Tuesday 1st December between 12 noon to 5pm and you’re in for a real pizza treat. To get our Text Santa fundraising off to a great start, your local store is hand throwing special pizzas for the first 100 people who dough-nate™ £3* to Text Santa. Just remember, it’s first dough-nate™, first served, so get there early! *Small Cheese and Tomato or Small Pepperoni pizza only. Minimum donation £3. i love the garlic sauce from papa johns, dominos is like water and is disgusting
Yep, I put that aside & use it for cooking with. I don't understand why it hasn't been changed by now, it's well known that it's disliked by most.
Holy crap that garlic sauce is rank! It's like butter, yeesh!
Just ordered, lovely. Thanks
I was just about to post this! Haha Great deal, love papa johns.
probably were I was going wrong
didn't know they did it
Their Garlic sauce is nice, the problem is that they give you garlic butter which is **** rank.
garlic sauce sucks pizza rocks
Not as good as pizza hut OR Dominos in my opinion, but each to their own.
Hi guys, Just about to do this. Will I definitely get the cashback if I use the BUY ONE GET ONE FREE deal as well or does that invalidate it? Thanks
I'm sick of quidco, topcashback all the way

Damn they fixed it. Still ordered pizza :D
Doesn't work, must have fixed the site.
I had mine earlier. but upgraded to the xl pizzas for a quid more in total :-)
Shame they fixed the loop hole. Have to continue with my diet instead.(_;)
If you're not interested in betting, don't forget to check your local for collection offers. Mine is still doing any pizza any size (including XXL) for £9.99 collection.
Foxy Bingo dot com. (Probably only makes any sense to anyone who's been a victim of daytime TV).
It's very obvious who this deal is targeted at.
What a load of jokers you all are !!!!! It's a free pizza after a £10 bet. Ok nice one walk in and pay £16.50 for a pizza or go ladbrokes and put £10 on a cheeky bet. Oh sorry you have to use some real cash to get something real. If you know what your doing this is free pizza. Load of tramps on here want everything for nothing. I bet you complain when you go out for meals so you try and get it for free
Just put a tenner on a non runner.
Kneale81, I hate you.
Just read post #120 and that was not mentioned in the T&Cs when the deal was posted?!! Now, I call that cheating to get some business, or is that a new way of getting some business??
Yes, I have not been awarded the points yet...do we know why?! Has everyone else got their points??
was expecting to come in here today (19th) and see people happy/sad that they did/didnt get their points but all is quiet oO
I did read the thread first! It depends on the Ts&Cs set out, or not set out, in the email - hence my request for a copy of the full text.
