I'm interested in this. Currently I have a dual boot on my mac that I did using boot camp. Can I reverse the boot camp partition thing and just have the single boot and use parallels instead?

You don't have to do that. Parallels should be able to use your bootcamp partition as an installation. However, you might have to reactivate your Windows again.
