Paramo Aspira Jacket just £125 (rrp £260) - instore only and for just one day only, but nevertheless a cracking deal if you can get your hands on one.
Just bagged one at the Stockport store but stock was very low. Bonus is that they are doing the Paramo Alta 2 jacket for the same price (rrp £220).

Paramo Aspira specifications:-

One of the most technically advanced mountaineering jackets ever, the Aspira has been designed specifically for harsh environments.

The Aspira offers excellent protection against cold and wet conditions, yet is versatile enough to be worn on hotter days in the mountains. The Aspira allows total temperature control with a multitude of ventilation features and is now 25% lighter in lining weight than previous incarnations.

In the heat multi-adjust cuff design allows sleeves to be rolled up for cooling, whilst adjustable venting and temperature control through the unique upper arm vents allows you to stay fresh.

Why so cold?
Have you found it cheaper somewhere else?

Oh well, at least the jacket will kep me warm!!

Heat from me

An OK deal if you visit a store, as nowhere near this price online

Not a Gore-tex which I would prefer at the price showing as normal

Seems like no longer availble at that price. BTW, I have several GoreTex Jackets (XCR, Powershells etc) but they collecting dust as Paramo Gear is so much more advanced in terms of moisture transfer and wearability. etc. . The best purchases I have done in terms of outdoor clothing by a mile.

only size S available for the Aspire Woman at 99 GBP.

Forget Gore-tex, these are far more advanced. RRP £260 and I haven't seen one cheaper than £234 online, so the £125 instore today is a gift! Admittedly no good if you are not near a store (they are not reduced online), or they have conveniently sold out (which I accept at times they do!), however like I posted earlier, they were offering the Paramo Alta 2 to disgruntled shoppers who couldn't get the Aspira in their size and the Alta 2 is £220.

Hope it's helped some of you - it appears to be a little warmer now than it was when I first posted anyway.

If you are in two minds, I've had mine on out and about walking today and have been toasty warm despite the -2 degrees outside!

Thanks for the info. regarding Gore-Tex

Didn't realy know enough about this brand, although I do know that a local store sells quite a lot of these (CWTents)
