If you have their logo displayed in your eBay listings you receive 10% discount, there is also an option on homepage to refer a friend for £1 coupon.Although some services for couriers on eBay are a bit cheaper,a lot of them only will give 1 delivery attempt, and I have lost track how many times when i have bought a service on eBay and its not been booked in,and I have had to chase it up to be rebooked, least when you book yourself direct you know its been done.I have done the VAT on top as a rough guess what the total price would be without any discount.

I've used the £6.99 one on ebay twice now. They picked up next day even when I've ordered late at night (both times DHL express) and made 24 hr delivery. They offer £100 compensation, 30kg max.

This one looks good too though. I'll wait to hear feedback - thanks.

I used parcel2go to send an item, it was smashed when it arrived and they said they couldn't do anything as it's covered for loss only.

I have used Parcels2Go in past but there been lower prices on courier services on eBay so haven't used them lately,so if something not urgent I will book with a service on eBay but I really have had it lots of times when courier not turned up.Items I send can't really get damaged,I don't send anything that easily breakable.

This seems ok, I used postmehappy last time. Never again they were absolutely rubbish.

same here desappointed with service!
late collection.

parcel2go have alsways been good for me, nice post OP

I've used them a few times with success. One time I ordered at 9am and they picked up at 1pm same day and delivered in 24 hours though it's a 2-3 day service, have been impressed.

Last time I used them they took 7 days on a 2-4 day service... but in tracking they made up a fictitious person who had supposedly signed for the parcel 3 days earlier. When I quizzed this they stated that their tracking isnt always accurate... IT ISNT TRACKING THEN!!!!!

This was DHL through parcel to go of course... It's a hit and miss job!

parcel2go are rubbish. used them twice both had to keep rebooking for collection and still don't turn up for pick up. so would never ever use them.

You could use payperdrop on ebay for £5.99.

MAXIMUM DIMENSIONS ARE 120cm x 60cm x 60cm.

MAXIMUM WEIGHT IS 31.5 KG

I use these guys all the time and most parcels are delivered next day by DHL!

I wouldn't use parcel2go if it was free, rubbish company my lad sent two pc's with them both were smashed beyond repair and the insurance was worth jackshxt they didn't want to know.

parcel2gone make Parcel Farce look good - I've only used them once nad had problems, but I've heard more horror stories about this crowd than any other delivery company

whats the seller name for that company on there please?
i tried payperdrop but couldnt find them
that sounds good:santa:

I'm going to have to send off a few heavy and/or bulky items, would love some suggestions of the best companies to use

payperdrop are excellent, use them almost daily.

they state cutoff time is 10am but i usually order about 11am and the guy always turns up at 1 to collect.

good service, all go through dhl but these guys are good agents

you can use parcelforce with quidco and i think there a 10% promotion code floating about. which is a much reliable service then dhl

To be fair, it isn't parcel2go that damaged the items, but the courier that was booked (presumably DHL).

Daniel

Why have £5.99 + VAT in a title when it's £7.05 in the OP?

IMO the price in the title should be the same as the OP.

Like so many of the other posters here (excuse the pun !), I've had problems with Parcel 2 Go.

I posted an original framed painting that I sold on eBay, which when delivered the glass had shattered and ripped the canvas. Despite complaining to Parcel 2 Go, astonishingly said that they had fufilled their service by delivering the package on time, and despite the fact it had been damaged in transit, no compensation would be paid.

Sorry to the original poster, but had to vote this cold as I would not want to encourage anyone to use their service. It would be a hot deal if a) they took care of their packages and b) they took care of their customers !!

similar story here, bad service from them, lost a set of bose speakers and then handed them out to another company to deliver who never turned up??? go figure. and funny enough there where no signatures or anything, and te refund process was tedious and took nearly 2 months to get a very small refund even though higher cover was requested. sorry a cold vote here as well as there are other more reliable companys out there.

voted cold never again damaged my item and didnt want to know:x

took me 2 months and i only got 75% of cost back

I used to work for UPS and there is a written agreement between all parcel companies that glass items cannot be insured in any way or form. I dont think parcelfarce or even royal mail insure glass.
I know this as I had to travel 200 miles to collect an antique mirror which I had won on ebay, and couldn't get insurance. Most people that sell on ebay and say the glass is insured are not aware that the risk is on them to re-imburse if the product is damaged.
I think, if you are lucky enough to live next to a MailBoxesEtc, then drop items there and they courier it for you through the best means and insurance is always honoured (not for glass items though - as stated above)

Ur better of using royal mail standard parcel service than using parcel2go dhl. even parcel2go was offering free delivery ur parcel most likely be damage or lost in the process lol

Add the word greasy to the promo box and you will get 10% off as well.

i used to use payperdrop as they are good, but a new guy has popped up and im using him (although its still DHL who come)

look for coreysworld on ebay - he is doing the same thing as the other couriers but for just £4.00!!!!!

i had 2 items picked up today, and have 2 more im sorting soon. only thing is to avoid fees he requests a cheque or postal order only. but you dont have to pay until its picked up, so its all kosher.

This is ok,aslong as you get your paperwork and tracking number at door and who you give it to,well as recognisable van like Parcelforce,DHL,etc When I use a new seller on eBay,if the person who come to door,if it seemed dodgy like any old van I be suspicious and not want to hand the parcel over!

There was a seller a while back now,I started using them late last yr who used to do bookings for £3.99 to £4.25 and then they got fed up with Paypal, and decided to take cheques, and they did the same method, book and then they expected you to be honest and send in payment by mail. Anyway 1 week, maybe it was for a few days their booking form wasn't working right, and a lot of people didn't get their parcels picked up despite rebooking etc,was myself,a friend of mind, and loads of others on eBay,anyway they got a load of negative feedback and then they dissapeared off eBay.
I will keep this seller you said in mind see what buyers have to say about them.

how are these ebay people doin this, surely they are the "middleman" can't be alot of profit in it for them. or could there be a way for us to save more money some how

Hi, Parcel2Go customer service is absolutely awful in my experiences with dealing with them. They hide behind an 0870 number (or used to anyway) and it's extremely rare that they respond to queries by e-mail. Failed collections over and over again because they do not seem to get themselves in order. Use PayPerDrop.Eu on many occasions and their customer service is second to none. Both use DHL (think that Parcel2Go is basically run off the back end of a DHL hub by a branch managers son or daughter). PayPerDrop.Eu have got their act together where paperwork is concerned. First class service from them. Would not recommend Parcel2Go.

There is one on ebay that sells parcelforce ones for £7.99. He is excellent and picked up and delivered within 24hours.

Parcel2go are absolutely appalling, I would never ... ever use them again.:x

payperdrop from ebay are excellent, use them all the time and most are picked up on same day if i book before 10-11am and get delivered next day!

Parcel2go are complete monkeys of the highest order. The last time i used them they didn't collect when they were supposed to for 2 day running, then when i called them for a third time they said that my package had been delivered even though i was standing there staring at it in my kitchen!
In the end they never took it and i never got a refund either, never again...

PARCEL2go is rubbish

.. try interparcel.com (+Qudico)

with parcel2go they lost three of our packages
the first was worth 500 and we got 50.00 as we did not insure it for the full value, after that they were running half price insurance for the month of may and june so we insured our goods to the full value of 1000.00 lol they lost two of the packages.. in return they said it will take them 13 weeks to process the claim last week it was the 14 week .. and lol they have been asking us silly questions like how much profit did we make on the goods, how we will settle the claim with the client.. i had to send them a letter before action and believe the claim should settle in this week OR courtroom for them.
Btw the insurance provided by them is not backed by any company.. so its upto them if they want to pay you.. what a joke

same ere i have package for 1.9 tonne from oxford to york.. anyone can help ?:santa:

I used these guys to send two Hi-Fi loudspeakers to Germany. Cost me less than 20 quid, which I though was pretty good considering the parcel weighed over 15 kg! I think they used UPS:

I used Parcel2Go many times and they are useless. They keep not turning up for collections. You then have to re-book and try and get a refund for the missed collection. I am still chasing refunds a year later. I will probably give up. AVOID

I will add to the chorus of unhappy Parcel2go customers. When it works its fine but if you have a problem dont expect to speak to anyone, get an email response or get any sympathy from them. THE WORST customer service I have ever come across - EVER!

Payperdrop are excellent!
