By which of course I meant that people were commenting saying that it wasn't just specific to Amsterdam; it's clearly some kind of MegaBus sale, the £1 they seem to do every few months. Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels etc, as well as many places in the UK.

Your comment was deleted because it was pretty rubbish. If you want to post photos, at least post decent ones. Like this.

Haven't got the Energy to find the £1 one's anymore. Their search filter is terrible. I have Oct Sat at £1 then I refreshed and It went up to £5. I don't mind paying £5 Return but I'm not paying £5 each way when It came up as £1 a bloody minute ago.

Free WiFi on the coach is only for the UK part of the trip.. and it's flaky too!

i hate begging for heat with individual deals instead of adding it to his earlier post. Whats next you going to make a MEGATHREAD post for even more heat so sad

Wouldn't mind doing this. Don't suppose they have plug sockets like National Express? I'm asking a bit much for a quid but if it had sockets it would be perfect.

Is that meant to be attractive? And no one's actually answered my question yet.

Totally agree with you) you won't be Abe to enjoy Paris after being on Megabus.

Cold - you could have just added this deal to the other thread instead of making another one

This is a long coach ride, I did it last year. Bring supplies, you're gonna need it.

How long is it?

I did this last August. I did both journeys overnight and I'd be lying if I said that it was a brilliantly smooth way to travel. Obviously if you are looking to save a few quid then this is the way to go because at the end of it all, you're visiting a wonderful, beautiful city. From my own experience it was extremely difficult to get any sleep because it was so uncomfortable and cramped and even if you do get some shut eye you have to be awake when you get on the ferry as you have to go through passport control and alight the coach for the crossing. Also it is worth knowing that the Wi-Fi didn't work at all on both of our journeys. However, for the price they are doing this coach travel for, it is difficult to have any real complaints. If it's not for you, and you've got a few extra quid to take the Eurostar or fly, then that's obviously a better way to go. Once was definitely enough but actually being in Paris very nearly makes you forget about the long journey both ways anyway. Hope this helps a few people.

17 hour journey from here.
Did Amsterdam 15 years ago but luckily got completely robbed so had to scab a return flight from the foreign office. I wonder if there discomfort of the outward journey had any bearing on that?

WiFi _and_ plug sockets is pretty awesome IMHO but I'd be lying if I thought sleep would be impossible, with that long a day it's pretty much guaranteed if you can bag a double seat to yourself? Much chance of that?

What's there Paris drop of point like? obviously I'm anxious to avoid getting robbed but would need to be comfortable about finding somewhere affordable to stay in Paris. Any advice here?

Thanks

I concur with many above.. I actually thought this was for a train.. Let me tell you honestly I think I would rather be poor and never venture to paris than be on a megabus bus for several hours with possible breakdowns and delays all to have to return on the bus for several hours/days when I am tired from my trip.

Posh you are, let's hope somone will benefit fro. This deal any way

........hmmm might be cheap but its a bit of a long journey!
