Ordered one a month back ..already broken as top does not work
Not made in the Uk since 2011, Now made in France so it wont last long.
Cheers, bought as mothers day gift and will look for a nice writing set to go with it . ( and the obligatory bottle of wine and chocs!)

Its major structural components are also built in the Uk & Germany so it will hold together hopefully and the Eiffel Tower is well over 100 hundred years and most countries back then were good at making things.

It's constituent parts are assembled in France, therefore I would say the onus is on the French for it all to "hold together!"
