Purchased the ball point yesterday on offer, which has now stabilised at its normal RRP. The fountain pen is now on offer.

The metallic pink is even cheap at £19.17!

The nib is crafted from premium stainless steel for durability and shaped to provide the optimal writing angle to both left- and right-handed writers. Parker fountain pens are also fitted with a twin-channelled ink system that feeds ink smoothly and consistently. Standard nib grades available in fine and medium. Fitted with twin-channelled ink feed and collector system. For use with Quink ink cartridges or convertible to ink bottle filling.

thanks - I wondered about the fountain pen yesterday after I saw the ball pen.

Why is it voted cold? Does anyone have other suggestions?

Parker is poor in quality. It was my preferred 1st option but almost always the caps becomes loose or something else goes wrong. I would suggest Cross or waterman. Hot for price cold for brand

Got a few cross pens ..all great and lucky to get in a big wh smith sale70-80% off
Gave away most as presents
But if you buy one ..it will last

Parkers are now made mainly in India and some in China. Some are better than others but the quality isn't what it once was. In the U.K. The brand has been overtaken by Lamy. My personal preference for executive pens is Pierre Cardin because the quality is sensational and the prices reasonable.
