Oh...I was hoping for an upgrade to Haven.

Hence why I'm never gonna join the child-bearing masses!
Isn't that how the average British family live...? (excited)
Or when; not surprisingly the weekends are not included in the deal.
They both have their advantages,I bet park holidays don't let you leave behind old mattresses and hedge cuttings
5 penny chews.
It says 3 nights from £199 unless I'm missing something? Nothing for £79
The one in Clacton On Sea is full of chavs.
Thanks looks good if you go this weekend.
Park holidays is brilliant value for money, went last year and was impressed.
Come on, holiday season has just started and the prices are now through the roof. Not a deal.
Just back from 4 nights at Broadland Sands for £79. Was short notice deal. Very impressed for money. Basic but clean caravan with bedding even though didn't pay extra for. Nice site and free vouchers for bar/restaurant. Would return.
I stopped at Dawlish last October, it was okay, the pool and club house need updating, quite tired looking.
What reviews were you looking at? I've only looked at Dawlish but it's 4.5/5 average and more Excellents+Very Goods than there is Average+Poor+Terrible
£269 for a modern 3 bed caravan, 4 days 17th April in Challaborough Bay. Park was £319 for a like caravan (gold), mines basically on the beach without a dodgy cliffside decent for a change, indoor pool etc and in a very very quiet location unlike the Golden Sands we looked at next to a industrial estate and a long walk to the beach. Dawlish sands is also a long walk to the beach, next to the railway and £306 for a gold spec caravan. Landscove was on a cliff with no beach, just massive rocks so we didn't look into it as our kids want to go to the beach even if it's bloody snowing and the last option was Riviera Bay and that is the mouldy old freezing chalets with 1 heater for the entire place so not much good in April!
Park Resorts have quite good facilities and their caravans are nicely kept very clean. We've been to a few of their parks and feels like home. We booked for Easter in Cornwall but paid over £400 for 7 nights as peak season but worth it.
Unless your a fan of hi de hi avoid riviera bay Brixham 1960,s chalets that want demolishing. We stayed in a silver plus with decking and sea view and this was awful so our hearts went out to the poor b------s who booked bronze.
oops ignore me, I'm thinking of park resorts lol
don't come to the Morecambe one lol but we're off to south view in skegness next week, lovely park and looking forward to our 2nd year there
My wife and kids have been to Coghurst Hall a couple of times and loved it. Great value holiday and lots to keep the kids entertained.
I've stayed with these people before at Broadland sands I think it was called and one in Clacton. Can't see sandylands on their website so think that must be someone else's park. Nice parks, my little boy loved loopy rabbit.
I agree about the cleanliness issues, I found fossilized Cheese on Toast in the Grill still in the one we stayed at in Bognor, take the Detol!
Just watch though as it's more like a Jeremy Kyle Resort at some! Dirty nappies on the beach surrounded by empty lager cans, young ladies dressed like ..... pushing large toddlers in buggies, over sized youngsters crushing little ones in the soft play and caravans cleaned to the standard of the Calais jungle.
Caravanning suits all types too.
Booked for August 2016 through the bank holiday at peak season for 7 nights for £229. Plus £11.75 TC. Bargain, cheers OP.
Please don't confuse Park resorts and Park dean, Park dean have much better customer service
These are park holidays not park resorts which is a different company.
Really??? Im going on my 3rd park holiday this year to devon. It certainly wasnt cheap and ive found it more than acceptable where ive been. And im pretty hard to please!
You don't get what you pay for Haven for a caravan next week are over £2400 yes £2400 and the caravan isn't even made out of gold with a pot of gold and champagne when you arrive
Its not just 1 deal a day... there is 1 per hour! :D
Their deal for today ends in 42 minutes.. Holiday in Suffolk only £69 (was £207)
Thanks got a cheap holiday :)
Going straight through to booking for me. Just grabbed a cheeky break for the family! :)
which one is the most northern of them? or are they all far south of england?
Most GCSE exams finish next week, so those kids will have finished for the summer.
Got back from Golden Sands, Dawlish Warren last week and was sceptical due to the reviews but everything was perfect! We stayed in a gold caravan and could not fault it! Good entertainment for the kids and pool area was clean and pleasant. This was also our first caravan holiday so was quite surprised at the quality.
Some schools here in Scotland break up on the 27th June for the summer hols.
Avoid Park Holidays at all costs. I stayed Golden Sands in Dawlish Warren ... worst campsite/static caravan brand ever! Dirty linen still on beds on arrival, mouldy curtains, no frying pan, wooden spoon filthy, pool area including change rooms filthy ... I could go on. Stick to Haven or Park Resorts.
Shame. Looks like it's Butlins again this year then.
I guarantee the staff don't look like that. Sadly.
Anyone phoned up yet?
Well they are advertising prices 'from £59', but they currently on their site they have holidays 'from £69' so not a fat lot off. If people call it's worth having having access to the internet at the time to check the real prices against their 'sale' ones.
I'm sorry but doesn't this come under the self promotions breach btw not actually a deal it's advertising a sale you have to call up for which has been on TV as one of the biggest cons in holidays selling
This is for 3 nights in a Bronze.Sheets extra? Dog extra... not tempted,i think the price will go lower nearer to June. We prefer Park Resorts but only because we can take our dog and are prepared to slum it.

Decent that I can take the wife for free.
Kids break up on 25th, so unless you are willing to arrive very late on the Friday, then the 4day hols starting 28th October are all starting about £160+
@skeptic, are you referring to the your own post? :)
cracking deal for half term...yes 5/6 hour drive from Yorkshire...but lovely area and close to my family !!! good find :)))
Even worse, a child around a dangerous animal. Typical of a dog owner to compare their dog to a human being/child. Do you see your dog as equal to your child? If you do there is something very badly wrong. Dogs are rarely kept on leads in public places as they all should be, don't tell me they are, they're not. Signs placed by local government are ignored. Then dog owners allow their animal to run up to children or strangers and sniff/lick/jump at them while saying some crap like "It's ok he'll just love you to death" you cannot prove that, animals are not predictable. Several kids have been hurt badly recently by selfish dog owners. Dog mess is a persistent problem in this and I suspect most towns. Then there is the barking they are allowed to do all night long in some cases. The dog license should be brought back and you should have to be qualified to keep one and have your license revoked and animal put to sleep if you do not look after it properly. Still even so you still gotta love a soppy Labrador - damn did I just say that
Great offer btw! ;) n a yay for dogs pets they are part of some peoples family!
Errrr don't tar all dog owners with the same brush please! I have too dogs and a little girl and we always keep the place clean and tidy n respect others! I'd say some folks, prob more don't control their children!!!!
Should ban dogs from parks such as these, they ruin the cabins for the next person and are often not kept under control by the owners. Much like in most local parks to.
Good offer, dogs go FREE in October too!
I just book a £59 break in Devon for half term, BARGIN!!! Has anyone else been to Riviera Bay? Will keep the kids busy and it was free to bring the dog :-)
Spent £5000 on a holiday 2 years ago. Ended up having a chair table and drinks smashed all over by the family that abused 24 all inclusive. I have done have. Holidays with my kids for under £300 and never witnessed such behaviour. It has nothing to do with class some people just have no manners or respect for anyone or anything!!!
Been to one of these with my kids. Nice time during the day and then the drunken yobs come out, boozing, shrieking throughout the night and vile language. No chance I will be going back. Though according to posters on this site it was by snobbery that ruined the trip rather than the delightful cohabitants. Time for some soul searching.
Good deal, thanks op
No point in him writing the comment, but the amount of people that dont think its true or valid is just as bad to see.... The sun £10 holiday is one if the worst things known to sane humans - dog ****, arguments, bad language and woefully badly bought up kids. I holiday with my family at holiday parks, and in general they are ok - but i totally know what this guy is saying. Sadly british people have no idea how to bring up their kids or how to behave.
This is Park holidays not Park resorts
My experience of park resorts haven't been good so I'll be giving this a miss
I'd say they are desperate to fill the place, we've just done a bank holiday one and it was half empty. I have to say for a quick budget break "base only" there not bad as long as you take your cleaning products with you.
Was about to post it, seems good if you know the value of holidays and can negotiate :)
So are they desperate to cut prices because they have a lot of unsold space,or will prices shoot up because they nearly full? What a bunch of charlatans.
Unless you are holidaying alone, these are just to get you to spend in the bar / restaurant. For example you get 1 x free breakfast on a Friday , so the others in your party will have to buy theirs. So for a family of 4 its only effectively 25% discount, and given that their prices are not cheap, its not an amazing deal. Its not a free meal each , its 1 of each voucher per booking . Click here to see the actual vouchers
Link to Free Food PageJust seen that HDUK have just put a general link in to Park Holidays where this one on MSE goes to the free food page
Agreed a good deal (Voted Hot)
i don't know why people have voted this cold? It's a good deal for a little trip away with the family :)
Oh -yes - you are quite right (and I'm quite wrong). It appears I am I in need of a holiday - do you know where I can find a break for around £49?!
Your title says Park Resorts but link takes you to Park Holidays ? I would be careful where you go with Park Holidays , especially Felixstowe as they are situated on the docks !
That'll do nicely, thanks.
Ah, Right. Haven't got my working head on. oO many thanks.
:-( kids still at school
Park Holidays not Park Resorts and reviews look good unless I'm missing something?
Whoa, check the reviews for that place first to make sure you're not disappointed when you get there... oO
