Good price for a 32 piece set, quality looks very good.
Magnetic bit holder holds the bits securely.
Compact case with a belt clip.
Small enough to fit in the case with my drill.

Can't say I've used parkside kit but you can get similar makita / dewalt / Bosch kits for another 3 or 4 quid, I'm not a brand snob but I just wouldn't take the risk for the trivial difference to own a recognised brand that I have come to trust.

(Not voting either way, sure it will be a good deal for many)

Only posted because i picked one up today and was very impressed with the build guality.
I was going to buy a Dewalt set which is Amazon's best seller in bit sets but todays price is £14.95.
Bits are better quality than my older sets, reading the reviews on the Dewalt sets it seems even these fail occasionally.
Their only for home use so should be ok.

Sorry. You are a brand snob. If you have never used Lidl kit, you have no right to comment.

You have your point of view, I have mine, that's what's great about hukd.

You are correct in saying that I've never used the parkside kit, I purchased an identical Bosch kit for £11, because I trust Bosch, I personally wouldn't try other lesser known brands for a £4 saving.

I've made no negative reference to the deal or parkside tools.

If you could see the lager I'm drinking you'd agree I'm not a brand snob!

As you said Bosch kit is almost identical,Parkside are a German brand and these sets probably came out of the same
factory.Your paying more for a brand name not necessarily better quality.
