    How good is this?

Check out the reviews of other similar 20v cordless washers.

They are all pretty much crap.

I'm struggling to get the point of this. It's cordless, but you still have to have a hose attached to it.

    2L a minute?!

I could blast more water out of a straw from my mouth in 45 seconds than this, and arguably at a higher pressure too.

Don't get sucked (pardon the pun) into going cordless for everything; this would be good for blasting the residue off your bath after a bubble soak.

I've never used it, but I'm guessing better than a garden hose, but dramatically worse than a wired pressure washer.

Yes, the 12V range are a totally different shape of battery and wouldn't fit even if tried

I noticed 4ah batteries in lidl yesterday for 15 quid. Great. Parkside tools (corded) have been great for the money. Here's the problem, though - they keep changing the battery types so there's no consistent interoperability. The cordless kit I first bought doesn't work with newer battery's etc. For that reason I'm out

Designed to just drop in a bucket of warm water that is 3.5L/min ( We've tested this to be a true and accurate flow too). It's ok for what it is , but by no means powerful in any way shape or form . That is just about powerful enough to rinse soap suds off the side of a bath . So I highly doubt this would even manage that .On the plus side though . I do think you'd be able to produce more flow at a higher pressure with your mouth and a drinking straw Fatbiker

    Where's the correction?

    Where's the correction?

I was trying to make the point that we have a battery operated shower that is 3.5L/min flow and that struggles to rinse suds off the side of the bath .

You stated that this has 2L/min flow and that all it would be useful for was rinsing soap suds off the side of the bath .

I was trying to point out that this wouldn't even manage that as the flow is so poor . Ergo one of your points was wrong and I was trying to correct you .

It was meant to be humorous .
Apologies if you missed that .

    Have a nice day .

Thanks. Is there much overlap between the purposes of the 12V and 20V tool ranges?

Bought it last summer to help out with washing the car. I cannot recommend at all, 1st unit worked for 5 minutes, ended up replacing, 2nd unit didn't work at all, went back to replace, 3rd unit worked intermittently and started to leak badly after the 2nd wash, I've put it to storage and forgot about it. I came back to it and took it out in May this year, again didn't work too well, I've taken the unit apart to check on the washers and gave up on this. Don't spend your money on it, not worth a penny. I still have spare battery and charger I've bought separately for this unit and have no use for it currently.

There seems to be similar tools of the 12V Range and 20V Range (drills, multi tool, sander, saws) but the 20V is supposed to be powerfuller and the 'Pro' range so probably better to get the 20V version whenever possible as its only maybe a fiver more. Honestly the parkside 20v circular saw and orbital sander are very good and hold up well to bigger brands that cost 3x more.

I've been eying up this pressure washer as I want something to clean the window sills and flush the debris from the gutter (all from the comfort of a bedroom window thanks to the cordless nature and bucket of water), which would save me a ton of effort getting a ladder or or roofer to do.

For a shower it would be a larger nozzle for rinsing large surface area and softer water rinsing.

For the pressure washer it would be like a small concentrated hard stab.

I get that . But a "pressure" washer with a 2L/min flow rate is arguably going to provide enough pressure to be anything near what could be considered effective . Unless the nozzle/outlet was extremely narrow .

Yes a wide head on a shower provides less pressure . That's exactly why ours has interchangeable heads . The only one we use is more akin to a narrow hosepipe sprinkler outlet . Which is only just adequate for rinsing suds . Hence my comments .

    Thank you .

    Have a nice day .

The amount of water it can push out is still really impressive compared to a shower that is supposed to clean someone.

The pressure which is 22 bars, which the cheapest karcher mains powered is about 3 times powerfuller.

I imagine this is quite good for everything but removing weeds and dirt on concrete.

I got the similar version last year, had a slight leak on hose that got to battery and it died.Poor design battery would be better on top.Save your money and get a mains one.

I bought one of these and am now finding that after a few minutes use, when I take my finger off the trigger for a few seconds, it then won't restart until it's had several minutes to apparently cool down. Anyopne else finding the same?
