I personally don't see the point of an Expensive Toy Drill Costing £16? .. Costing £5 on the other hand ..... lol. :-)

Thanx for that input .. I may just get one .....

Well Made you say? .. would this be useful for a period of more then 1 Year of normal use? .. or would it break down after only 6 Months worth of use, etc? .. thanx.

Dont know how true this is but I was told Parkside is a Bosch brand?

I've had this exact model for a couple of years or so, got from Lidl at £12.99..

Excellent quality screwdriver, holds charge well, plenty of torque, bits don't get chewed. I can highly recommend this screwdriver. It's used fairly regularly for self tapping screws, ikea furniture etc - always manages the task..

Picked one of these up today from Lidl's. I'm yet to try it but looks pretty good so far!

Don't know why this is expired, there were plenty in-store today. Picked up mine today, seems very good quality. 3 year warranty. Lots of torque (Max 4Nm), 6 torque + 1 drill settings. Thanks to OP.

Just FYI all - this is NOT a drill!

LOL...... Just made hot and this deal finished almost a month ago

By the way i got one of these and its a great little driver

Different item....that's the 14.4 volt hammer drill I think.....

I got one of these about 2 weeks ago and I've used it once or twice.

Not the most powerful and changing the torque only makes minor differences, but it does the job.

Great if you want a cheap electric screwdriver to use every now and then but if you need it for work or are going to rely on it on a daily basis I would look around for something a bit more expensive.

Bought one of these last time, well worth the money :-)

Apparently not a Bosch brand, but most likely made in the same place as Bosch tools.

perfect for those who want to knock some ikea furniture up

Think if I was going to spend that sort of money on a toy I would get my son a chainsaw

Anyone know if the 4nm torque is available at 200rpm, or is that the very maximum where it's doing 1rpm right before it grinds to a stop?

I have a Black & Decker 3.6v screwdriver which has two nm ratings, 3.2nm/7.7nm where they mean 3.2nm can be achieved all the way upto 180rpm and 7.7nm reached right before it grinds to a stop which results in a surprising amount of power for a cheap single gear 3.6v screwdriver.

On the Parkside model, i like the torque setting since cheap screwdrivers don't have variable speed which can make putting screws back into fragile plastics a bit tricky at times.

Had to return it, not worth it, need bit more powerfull

not used this model but have been using the 12v screwdriver for the past 2 years every weekday for work and it's very well made. its been dropped a few times too and still working like when new. sure this will be just as good quality.

how do you buy one? link doesn't work.

find lidl website is really difficult to use. font is small and in low contrast. no search option....

I found some lidls are really small and only have food product. How can you tell if they are selling the screwdriver without visiting the store?

You can't....that is the idea to get you into the stores & even with the largest there is no guarantee they will have the items on the leaflet or how many of each if they do

I found some in the Carmarthen store this morning.
