Never seen it online at that price, it may get reduced but only towards end of season if they’ve any left in store.

Chances are possible but it’ll be store specific and down to luck.

Edit - sorry just noticed your referring to Aldi yea they did do one at around the £30 mark but that was at least a year ago and Aldi discontinued it in favor of an overpriced brand called ferret or something.

To be honest though given the choice of additional decent tools you can pick up from Lidl even if the Aldi one was still available I'd go with the Lidl one.

Just bought it, trimmed one conifer and it's died, issue with the trigger switch, very intermittent for it to work , quality seems nowhere near the other 20v tools ,very cheap feeling and lightweight compared to the grinder ,drills etc

No worries I wasn't inferring you was, seems a bit strange though re the battery conking out after such a short time - I've got a cordless hedge Trimmer with 2ah battery and it lasts for ages
It's not the battery, it's the trigger contact, I have loads of these batteries and changing them makes no odds, the trigger is faulty
