Bit of a niche item but I think silimiar tools would cost near £100.

3 Yr warranty, think there was some fairly positive reviews online.
Vacuum port extraction which is important.

Worth a punt at £30 I guess? I'll let you know when I use it

Thanks for heads up. It would be my concern also, but anything above 1-2mm I'm taking that off with the table or the jig saw. We'll see.. Worse case I can use this as a platform to make my own bench sander. there's a few diys online from old motors etc, not confident enough in the usage yet so this is a good test.

Why show reduced from £44.99...this is the normal price....
Good for Toenails!
I bought one of these a few weeks back. Not bad for £29.99. Its good for light work and I intend to us mine for smoothing my 3d prints which will be fine.
Some update: I've only leveled off some osb ply cuts but seems to do the job. It shaves mm's in seconds, I would assume timber wouldn't be too different either.

For me it does the job but would be interested what other people would use it for..?
I love mine. Fully accept that for 30 quid it’s not overly powerful. Already used it for squaring up the ends of some dowel I cut and shortening some bolts a bit.
