Excellent drill had one about 5 years and used it in the building trade.100's of times.

Got this last year for same price. Does the Job ;-)

Looks good, and worth getting the extra drills at £7.99 as well

Good deal, paid £50 for the Argos version (Challenge brand); would recommend this type of drill to anyone as the chisel function will save you hours (and from getting bruised nuckles).

Found one I cant remember buying unopened at the back of the garage when I had a clear out, meaning I now have a total of 4 working drills in the house....and I hate DIY

Then again I returned from Aldi today with a hand axe as at a fiver it seemed rude not to.

Is this similar to a hammerfor

I saw one of these in Hatton Gardens the other week.

Very funny...'what's a hammerfor?'

'knocking nails in'

classic!

This wont have a clutch, so be careful when using it for core drilling etc.

For a tenner more:
all of the above plus 2 year warranty, 1500 watts, clutch:

As a bonus you'll have arms like Arnie by the time you've burned out this baby.

It does have a clutch. I've used it for core drilling and it's safe as houses.

And it only weighs 6.3 grammes!

Totally different drills half an hour using the screwfix one and your arms will be dropping off.

And if you rearrange the reviews from the default most favourable first to least favourable, I think you'd think three times about buying it.

That's what I wanted to hear. Now I can get on with the process of drilling straight through my house, without waiting for the Worx one that I had my eye on in the Homebase 15% off sale.

bought one of these and used it today for chiselling some sandstone rock away. I didn't know what to expect but I am totally impressed! Had plenty power and actually had to turn the speed down a bit.

Got one today - now I just need something to drill... I killed two bits and my arms last year trying to drill into concrete to fix some curtains with a cordless DeWalt, this'll save me a lot of ache next time.

It was the same price last year when on sale, so in absolute terms it's cheaper now. Hot!

Looks like this is available again on 20thAugust, the only thing I can't find is the weight, does anyone know the weight?
