Indeed BUT the poster said : The Evolution Rage 3 is a better saw at the same price.
Therefore one can only assume they were looking at the 110v version and haven't got a clue
Hot for the price. You can spend another £70 and get a larger diameter blade (80mm cut depth), 2000W motor, 30cm cutting width, but this is half that price.

Care to share where?
An opinion based on what? You have one? Mine seems very accurate.
The Evolution Rage 3 is a better saw at the same price.

This is tomorrow for anyone who might have missed it.
As far as I know each store will stock but may only have a small amount & won't restock so when it's sold that's it. My local store had 6 on show. I don't know if there were more out of sight or if that's all they had.
Good luck, hope you are lucky.
Thanks, I went down after work yesterday and they had about half a dozen in stock so I bought one. Used it a bit yesterday afternoon and I was really impressed, feels very sturdy and heavy. I don't really have anything to compare it to because I'm a DIY noob, but it cut all the timber I needed to accurately and cleanly, so I'm very happy
I love my (non sliding) evolution in that it'll cut wood or metal, but I didn't otherwise consider it that precise or great on quality - though mine is the green 'DIY' version.
Probably not 'better' at cutting wood, I have the 110v orange version (1600w) and the slower blade speed (necessary to cut metal) means it will take fractionally longer to cut wood. If you are a full on carpenter by trade you're not going to be looking at circa £100 saws and will probably splurge on a £600+ Festool. My 255mm saw wasn't set up correctly out of the box, but at least it can be adjusted unlike some cheaper saws.
Better off buying a mitre box for £5-£10 if that's all you want it for.
Don't be daft, this is an excuse to buy a power tool i haven't got yet.
Cutting width is 340mm.
