Just noticed you can get them from Amazon Warehouse for £151.84 for those wanting to save a little more and have it come from the UK:

Liked your find, but disappointed as just spotted it's for a second hand product and so should be a lot less not only £16 less.

Amazon warehouse stuff is usually almost new. Don't forget you can always return it free of charge if it's not up to standards and get a refund.

Surprised this isn't hotter tbh

Can't believe how cheap these are now

Would get one in a shot, if I could justify the expense!

Still grossly overpriced, you can pick one like this up from gear best but better for about £50... For £160 now you can get a stunning drone, not to mention this does not even have its own transmitter

How much would it be for a suitable transmitter?

Give us some links!

Spend the extra and get the Bebop, it's miles better!

dont do it, range of about 30m, trust me this drone was good in its day but technology has far outpaced it, if this did not have Parrot on it's side, it would be £20

I was just quickly showing you what you could get, the quality on the camera on this parrot drone is about £10 worth and for example £150 gets you this

gearbest.com/rc-…tml

which let me be clear is probably about 1000 times better than this deal

and if you wanted to be 'well that is not the same style' for £150 you could this

gearbest.com/rc-…tml

which again is so much better it is scary.... The Parrot brand should be roundly ignored, they set themselves up as this premium brand when drones first come on the scene, but in reality the products from gearbest et al totally trounce them

now if you wanted one that was only say 20x better than this Parrot, this would do at £70, exact same style

Looks like a good option, may get one of those. Thanks. Possible downsides of buying the drone in your link for some is that it could take roughly a month to deliver, and neither the manufacturer nor gearbest will offer much of a warranty after about a month.

Also, advances in drone technology mean you can get something like a Parrot AR 2.0 drone. Buying in the UK you will get at least a one year manufacturer warranty and at least two years with the retailer themselves. It also has a little optical and sonar sensor on the bottom so that it can maintain height accurately and stability. It also has pressure sensors built in so that it knows it's altitude when it gets higher. You can also pilot the thing with your smart phone by just tilting and it takes pictures at the press of a button and high definition video. You can use it with a tablet for FPV out of the box. A couple of batteries for 35 minutes flying time. Even that's not the newest tech - Parrot has two future generations of quadcopter since that in the bebop range.

I think I would definitely opt for that v666 drone over the AR drone for the price. Plus parts are relatively cheap

I honestly have no clue about drones, but saw Amazons usual price for this and considered it good, so cheers for the insight/alternatives guys

Grossly overpriced for what it is and it was reduced from £279. No proper motors ,no GPS , very poor specifations. I own quite a few with much better specifications and they were each just a little more in price , roundabout the £200 mark .

Thanks mate - starting to get into drone flying and I bought this one as you recommended (except with a camera)
