They're cool and all but don't want to drop a grand on dji's mavic offerings. Still not sure they're even level to fly almost anywhere in London

720 is hd, it’s the minimum resolution to be classed hd. Hd ready was a term used for TVs before hd content was the norm.
You can stop being angry now and tick that one off your list of things to get worked up about.

Had one of these a few years ago and was able to increase range with a WIFI repeater.

Ever thought of Anger Management
Hot price, I'm sure it will be great fun. Just hope they can improve the battery life. 18 minutes of fly time.

Ever thought of Anger Management

lol you guys slay me
you - you are why I come back to HUKD

that and all the deals

my point still stands
a) this is an outdated product, even for a 'starter' drone. 720P is pretty bad to watch on a 4K monitor, tv, or (god forbid) projector at 100"+
b) drones are illegal to fly in most places in London, and unfortunately I live here rather in the beautiful countryside, so for a good chunk of users on this site it wouldn't be any fun to have

ugh you may be right
just tired of the bs marketing tbh!
HD ready, HD, full HD, UHD, whateverthehell8KisHD
just say 720p, 1080p, 2160p, etc - it's far more accurate

720p = 1280 x 720 = under 1million pixels (or 1 "mega"pixel :P)
1080p = 1920 x 1080 = just over 2million pixels
2160p = 3840 x 2160 = just over 8 million pixels
4320p = 7680 x 4320 = just over 33 million pixels

you can see why 720p is so far behind nowadays. It was good when it was introduced... in 1996

No, i think it will fit in a cupboard quite easily!
Forgetting the opinions of the product, is it a good deal or not? Can I get the same product cheaper elsewhere? Isn't that what the website is all about?
For what it is its an excellent deal. Don't be under any illusion though that any video or photos will look anything like 720p they're pretty poor but for the price its a fun drone. If you want quality video or photos you need to spend £500 - £1000

Clearly somebody that doesn't know about HD resolutions.
Toy not a drone, for 30gbp is ok
Decent make, model appears good enough for entry level and for beginner's fun. Good reminder about law vs. location.
UK news article on drone rules
When all said and done, I think it’s worth the money even if you keep it for a while and sell it on later when you’re bored or maybe not:/
I hate you guys. You guys always find something that will make me part with my cash. Been wanting a replacement drone for the s**ty one I got a while back.

P.S. I don't hate you guys, you guys are champions.
Game Over.
