If Argos don't have any in stock near you, Amazon have 14 available (as of writing this) with prime delivery - although currently only the yellow ones are £149.99

Edit. This also apparently comes with 3 batteries rather than the 2 in the Argos deal

Problem is, at whatever price, its just not a very good drone.
Does anyone knows anywhere which sells higher capacity spare batteries?

Why'd you say that? It looks good from the videos I have seen online. Genuinely curious as I have one reserved at Argos
I picked one up the other week, it decided to fly off on its own and crashed in to a free half a mile away...

I was going to buy one last week and some of the reviews I saw put me off.

I bought mine on Amazon. You can't go too high because then it weighs too much to fly properly.

You probably didn't calibrate it correctly before you took off.
Mine did the same one time when I didn't calibrate and wait for it to pick up the GPS signal.

You're not alone. I had one of these as well about a year ago and it just didn't do what it was told to and I lost faith in it. The GPS will lock but drifts and that's the big problem. I didn't have a bad crash like you but it was coming and I took it back for a refund. Plus the flight time was really poor. It's meant to be quite a simple drone and it doesn't have all the good crash avoidance features you probably want and should have on a drone.
I bought one from Argos, all four batteries were dead and couldn't recover them no matter what I tried. Returned it and has made me wary of this deal, it's only good if the damn thing works!

That's the ones I got.
Really tempted but all this comment and review😞
I bought one from Argos and had no issues. 4 Batteries all working ok and no flight issues
Personally i wouldnt buy a drone if you cant afford a dji and to be honest even they go a little crazy sometimes. Last summer my mavic pro just fell from 400 feet for no reason looked like one of the motors stopped spinning then luckily about 100 feet off the ground it somehow saved its self and started hovering, but ive seen people have drones not return after losing connection when its meant to fly back to the take off point maybe they didnt update the return position who knows but its alot of money to risk so cheaper drones are technically less risk money wise but i think they would be 10x more likely to go missing or crash so end up being worse plus they have no obstacle avoidance for beginners
So happy to replace my daughters Parrot 1 with this after it flew away!! (after I crashed it - I think I had damaged the props)

A GREAT wee drone and well worth the money!
Its OOS, so cancelled and ordered from Argos instead - does it come with 4 batteries from Argos?

Yeah, no, that's no how gravity works.

That happened to me on my first one, bloke in Argos refused me a refund (on the same day) because the serial didn’t match... went to a different store, exchanged, serial didn’t match on new one either. Idiot.

You’ve literally just stated you’ve had one fly away!!

I did as it did. It was possibly damaged by a heavy crash a few minutes before.

Hmmm not sure that would make it fly away, but ok!
buy one if you want to see £150 fly away, these drones are terrible
2 batteries and a charger in each box so pretty decent for a drone, 4 spare props, bumper bars and a bloody good controller!

Was to why mine flew away, it had a really hard landing and i think a prop must have been damaged. Also the RTH did not work, so possibly I never allowed GPS enough time to get the satellites before flying. Glad to be "back in the sky" for only 149.99 with 3 more batteries than before the fly away .. try that with any DJI!
Bought one a week ago from Argos 4 batteries and two chargers. 3 batters were working one was not to due to the batter been too flat the charging unit has a safe guard. To get around this plug in a working battery then quickly out in the one that's not working.

Drone works perfectly for a first time user. Good fun all around and works well on the phone better with the controller. Sure if you want more drone you gotta pay the dolla but this is a bargain for a bit of fun. 20mph I clocked today and 30meters on my phone not even the controller.

It’s a decent drone for the price. Picture quality is HD. Could be better but great for a starter drone for sure.
