Bringing lots of joy and happiness to prisoners everywhere?

I'm holding out for the Rocksteady Edition.

Good price. They work on wifi so you can get descent range using wifi extenders. Can be easily controlled from phone or tablet or even ps3, ps4 or any Bluetooth controller. Some amazing technology behind it.

seriously think about DJI Phantom 3 over this drone, the support and customer service from Parrot is the worst I have had the displeasure of dealing with EVER! (and I have bought from Gearbest!), also watch online video's regarding range without a suitable controller, improved over bebop 1 for sure, but I still have an ongoing issue with their customer services, a simple issue that should have been resolved in the first call, not multiple calls, and multiple emails. I have now contacted PayPal (as I purchased using PayPal) about how I can leverage their muscle.... beware!

Get a Phantom, you won't regret it.

ok, not exactly clear... edited... Parrot the company... i.e. not a retailer

Got the original Bebop for use whilst in NZ. Absolutely loved it - until it decided to fly away on a flat calm day over a lake! Sad times.

I still want another though!

For those that have owned the Bebop 1 & 2, is there much difference?

The problem with the Phantom - it's just too big to carry conveniently. My Bebop has been brilliant by comparison because all I needed was a phone, and the 400 gram drone strapped to the outside of my backpack.

The Mavic is of course the best of all things - but that is £1000+. So for me, the Bebop is still the drone I want...even if it did fly away after 200 or so flights.

Cheapest new Phantom 3 can be bought for a £100 more. portability wise it's true bebop will fit in są smallish compartment of a rucksack but I find taking propellers off and on is a bit of a chore. on the Phantom putting propellers on could not be easier but will will take up most of a large rucksack or will require a dedicated case. Bebop will be more fun to fly and safer for a beginner as you can sat max speed and climb rate, it can do flips and such but you will compromise on the video quality. Bebop can still produce some pretty good videos and images but there are some artefacts on straight lines where software is straightening image captured by its stationary fisheye lense. Phantom is a flying mirrorless camera. very stable even in wind thanks to the GPS flying mode. Bebop 2 will give you little bit more flight time than Phantom 3 advanced or professional and about the same as Phantom standard but batteries for bebop are half the price if not less than phantoms. If you're a beginner I suggest to start with bebop 1. £299 in argos with the skycontroller. the Skycontroller alone can be sold on eBay for £200.

Gone back up to £439 now!
