Or how much normal supermarkets mark up? That’s what you really have to ask yourself.

It's cool the cows stay in the Hilton and the chickens nearby in the Sheraton, Park Lane.

Bought these last week. Delish.

Only problem is they sell out all the time
Didn't realise this was a limited time offer, that's a shame. Bought a few on the weekend and they were very tasty.
I love these

Nandos sell these at ridiculous prices, but 50p sounds right for how small they are.
Good with coffee in the morning, equally good with a beer in the evening.
Apparently Waitrose sell their own but I've never seen these. Absolutely love egg tarts, could eat a dozen of these by myself in a day
Each or for 2 ?

Same price in Morrisons. Well, £1 for two - which is near as damn it the same. Not an offer or limited time product.

no matter what the price theyre not kept in good conditions anyone who believes that hasnt done their research, free range means nothing, red tractor etc, all b.s
Well, I was glad when my wife found these. It was always disappointing to have a shop bought custard tart compared to the ones you get in Hong Kong. The only thing negative is if they were less sweet I could eat more

The ones in Belém are the real ones... the space is open to business since 1837...

To be fair no one is going to match the Belem ones , but I'm always happy to try imitations
The pastry is not the very best - at least when compared to those from any of London's Portuguese bakeries, but for 49p these are great value.

I know but every 'Pasta de Nata' I've tried in the UK tasted nothing like the delicious goodness I experience in Belem
I found the pastry a bit chewy but the egg custard is so silky. lovely!
Are these in the section where people use their hands instead of the tongs provided?
These are soooooo good. Did not realise they were a limited time product. I have been freezing mine and then having them later. Just as good from frozen as they were fresh. Not sure if they should be frozen or not so maybe do not follow my advice or do. if you get sick not my fault

That's because it has gone cold or is old.

The pastry should be caramelised, crispy and flaky - a bit like puff pastry.

ParknShop supermarket also have them in HK.
Can't remember how much exactly but is pretty cheap.

Or can just get freshly baked ones from a bakery, practically everywhere you go.
