These aren't much better then the supermarket own brand think they are overpriced. Good deal if you like them. Lloyd Grossman seem to do the best curry sauces imho
Heat added for the price but as someone who has used most of the tikka sauces on the market over the years I've yet to find one that betters Aldi's budget offering, Bilash at just 55p!

Way better than Aldi's 'posh' one!
They have stopped selling the phaal variety

Not if you are into Indian food - Patak's are pretty good but Shan is actually right up there - sadly they are not stocked by major supermarkets though.

I like to heat them up in the microwave and dip fish fingers in them.
Butter chicken is the best one
Iceland are also offering these for the equivalent of £1 but on a multibuy offer of Buy 2 for £2. It also includes poppadoms, chutney and naan bread. iceland.co.uk/sea…aks

Haha, brilliant (and I'm a vegetarian).
They seem to be £1 at Morissons most of the time.

Which is actually a British creation. Hot hot from me.

I didn’t know that.
waste of money ,your better off using pataks pastes in your curries
I used to buy these when they were canned, they tasted much better than the bottled versions.
Most places very often have them at a £1
No more phall.... I had 1 few weeks ago.... Shame

Not necessarily - the pastes often insist you use either 1/2 or the whole tin per curry, and cost the same as the sauce jars. I like making curries from scratch, and used to use the pastes all the time, but when I can't be bothered I just use one of these + a tin of chopped tomatoes or coconut milk. Saves time and tastes great.

Just add two tablespoon chilli powder in Pataks Madras sauce for phall hot & 1 tablespoon for Vindaloo.(y) you can do the same with Jalfrezi sauce as well.
Patak's; why Britain loves curry!
