I use bleach on my patio every year since I laid it and its a coloured indian sandstone and has kept its colour. Bleach can be diluted down alot. So i put 1.5litre of bleach in a bucket and fill the bucket to the top and tip it on the patio with a slight scrub and push around with a broom.
The next day its like new. The secret is to dilute

That said this is a good deal for people on the product, so voted hot

Or just use a mild bleach

Think if you have spent a few grand on a new patio most would not want to use bleach.

Thanks, reminded me to get it before painting fences this spring
If you have bigger areas to cover I use pro kleen from hsd, just arrived x4 5 litres bottles
29 pound delivered. Same stuff I have used a few different makes.
As I seem to remember once this is applied it takes several days to see the results its not a quick overnight solution if that's what you're after. It worked well enough but didn't remove some tough algae and black spot moss. I still would probably opt for a pre-soak and then a pressure washer.
Thank you, have been looking to get some of this and that’s a great price. No having to lug it home and £1 digital credit made it a definite buy.

Does the same thing though ! and much cheaper ( especially if needing to buy several for large areas )

"Removes mould, algae and moss while restoring the natural appearance of the surface you're cleaning.
Also inhibits regrowth."
Aldi recently had 2L bottles of a similarly formulated product for just £1.99, but I missed it - it sold out same day in several shops in my area, so this is about as cheap as you will get for this size, but if you are treating larger areas, this is much cheaper per litre - £11.95 for 5L amazon.co.uk/dp/…_it (If you are paying for delivery!)

It was still in our store a couple of weeks later, and I managed to get a few bottles. Mind you, after applying to a few test slabs, it doesn't appear to have done much.

You forgot to add postage
I used Wet & Forget this year as some of my paving stones are painted so I thought if I bleached them as I have done elsewhere it would take the paint off.In this area water sits there in the Winter and it had gone Green!

Put the Wet & Forget down the day before we had all that Snow with the beast from the east and when the snow had gone so had my Green paving.I sprayed it on fencing too that is painted Black and had years of Green mould on it and in one application most of it had gone.

I wonder how this compares as it 's a lot cheaper.
Never had any luck with this, the b&m or aldi one! Only thing that gets it clean is a good pressure wash.

You forgot to read it! Second link is free post.
Got some of this stuff to clean up some Indian paving on the patio (and a pressure spray). Followed the instructions - 1 part to 4 parts water and after a week only saw a minor improvement. Applied another lot and still not that much better.

Think the problem is that it's "Mould and Algae" cleaner (as stated on the product), but it doesn't clean dirt. Especially a porous surface like Indian stone where dirt can get embedded. Think it's time for mild bleach, or a scrub.

Reading the stuff in the OP it only removes Green mould etc doesn't it,not to clean paving stones that are dirty.I use Bleach because the pressure washer makes a right mess of my painted fences.
Yeah for me it's doesn't get rid of any of the green or black mould either. Guess I have very resistant strains!
Is there anything which is kids and animal friendly?

Oh,as I say the Wet & Forget is brilliant but expensive and it does actually work.

The Wet & Forget is not sure about anything else without reading up on it :

You only need to keep pets off the surface during the time it takes Wet & Forget to dry, which is between 4 and 5 hours. Once the drying time has elapsed, both people and pets are free to walk on the surface that was sprayed with Wet & Forget. It is also safe for people and pets to be on the treated surface after subsequent rainfalls.

Not sure this is acid based, used to use wilcos patio cleaner until they took the acid out, are they allowed to sell acid based cleaner now?
I have used this stuff which is very good, I have used the one from Aldi which is just as good. I didn’t like Algon, just didn’t seem to work as well. After researching a number of products I got some of this...

Pretty much Patio Magic but concentrated, I put 150ml diluted into a 5ltr sprayer and it work perfectly.. initially expensive but massive savings over time.

Yes i used a Oxy clean, the stuff that you can put in the was to brighten your clothes. It has worked a treat. Just make sure you wear gloves. Chemical burns are not nice

Jeyes fluid is particularly toxic to pets, especially cats!

Some of these commercial products are just dangerous to have around the house dilute they are often fairly safe but at this concentration not nice at all, needing protective clothing to handle :-(

I agree, and is what I have always used, although it's a big area for me- the problem is, the algae seems to come back QUICKER once pressure washed than before, the slight residual effect of this stuff might be worth using after a full cleaning to extend the post-pressure wash period!

Oxy clean is sodium carbonate peroxyhydrate .. Active being yep hydrogen peroxide. So you used peroxide with no gloves ?? Really ?

Guessing folks are confusing these with caustic soda .... Wrong.

soda crystals are completely different stuff .. Containing NO bleach , NO phosphates , NO enzymes , NO perfumes, NO odour . You can soak your clothes in it as a stain remover.

Not it good for aluminium though .. But kills moss and algae completely ... And it's incredibly cheap .
no way I would be paying stupid money for special moss killers or tipping bleach on my drive neither .

and all pressure washers do is spread the algae spores far and wide .. Just creating more work for yourself .

FWIW I've just been to my local Aldi, and they seem to have got loads more, they had a good 200+ bottles. Perhap it's worth checking your store again?

But pressure washers do a spectacular job of moving them off hard surfaces, AND cleaning dirty ones too... that's why a residually acting killer used afterwards might be useful, because moss and algae come back quickly on the clean surfaces .
I use bleach mixed with water in a sprayer on my Indian sandstone paving every year and it cleans it extremely well and doesn't effect the slabs in any way
good price op but i cant use anything like this as i have indian sandstone around my pond

Na nihcaj not having that.
First link u put- reputable brand with over 100 reviews BUT total cost is £16.90
You wrote “if you pay for delivery”.... no “if” about it. I have prime and still have to pay delivery.
So it’s not cheaper.

Second link - it is cheaper BUT has only 2 reviews. Hardly a comparable product.

Good job I had my reading glasses on8)
