Is this a good alternative to using a pressure washer?

No! Pressure washer is much better. I bought some thinking and hoping it would be good, it isn’t

Sounds like good stuff.
The price seems good and wanted to vote hot. However, the most important part is missing from description/title. How big is this?
Looking at previous deals, the one from Amazon is 2.5l, another one from Morrisons is 5l. You can't even figure out from the picture, as both seem to cover the same area. I suspect this is 2.5l and the previous deal was listed wrongly as 5l. The price is really good regardless.

Yes really good. I used it on my drive to get kill the moss which the pressure washer wouldn't budge at all. It also killed the stubborn moss on some ground floor roof tiles which was difficult to pressure wash.

Dilute it much less than it says to and it works much better and much faster.
Waste of money, decent jet wash is all you need. All this stuff is crap

What portion did you dilute it to and how did you apply it?

I purchased a bottle early last year and poured it into a watering can.....needles to say I only managed to do a third of the patio which was about 2 meters by 1.5 meters. Was a bit annoyed at the time but can honestly tell the difference. After the winter season the bit of the patio that was treated is way cleaner, hardy any moss. Want to get another bottle but not if it won't cover the full patio
Buy hypochlorite from builders yards etc. It's 25L for about £13-18. Poured and brushed. Great job.

Buy hypochlorite from builders yard. Patio magic is muck.
Its funny how people's opinions vary so much.
For my side, i have a fair size, light coloured, rough surfaced, paving slab patio which has been down probably 20 years. Each year i jet wash it and it looks much better. Nothing shifts the black spot/lichen stuff though, no matter what i do.However, i bought 2 tubs of this stuff on Amazon, about a month or so ago on an offer (£25 for both) and tried it.
All i did was dampen the surface down with a watering can, then use the watering car to dispense this stuff undiluted. I then used a small long handled brush to work it in a bit (not hard or down on my knees scrubbing) and left it overnight.
My patio came up like new. Genuinely. Absolutely incredible. Personally, i cannot praise the stuff enough and will definitely be using it again. It does smell a bit 'fishy' though for a few days then it goes away. I looked on their website and found they did an even stronger version. On my experience, it won't be needed. Just this stuff.
I'm sure other products work as well or even better, but i have found it amazing.

You need 12% Hypochlorite and the strong bleach smell is unbearable

I used something like this:
amazon.co.uk/Spe…8-3
I did it about 2:1 water to solution. You get a lot of coverage if you use a proper sprayer.

Oh, so it's better to spray it on.
Would a smaller hand sprayer work?

This stuff is useless! Did absolutely nothing on my driveway.

No I found it crap for a big area, got some stubborn stains but power wash is superior

Are you referring to using patio magic or something else. I have black spot on my patio and the pressure washer doesn't shift it

That would work fine, make sure you're upwind of it though! One of the advantages of the other type I suppose, is that you're further away from it when you're spraying. I'm sure it can't be good for you...
Doesn’t work, use bleach instead 👎
Picked up a couple at my local. Nice one op : Voted Hot
Can anyone recommend something similar but for killing moss between flags?

Yes i'm referring to Patio Magic. Obviously some feel otherwise, but i'm a big fan.
Whereas some people think 'Wet & Forget' cleaning stuff is great, i have found it just junk. No difference on whatever i used it on. I honestly just poured half of it away, after being so disappointed by it.
So, when i found Patio Magic worked so well, i did a little dance of joy. It took it back 20 years to like new.
This is just what i have found, others have clearly found the opposite.
To anyone who was able to buy it for £2, its cheap enough to just try it and make your own mind up. If you don't rate it, its only the price of a cheapo sandwich .

Pressure wash first then use this to kill any lingering moss that discolours

Same experience here. Waste of time and money. Got the jet wash out and now it looks like new again.

I used something called moss terminator off Amazon which did the trick. Killed all the moss on my garage roof.
I like the jet wash but whenever I use it it blast up all the muck and sand from in between the block paving joints meaning it all needs to be re-sanded.

I was considering just using hypo on it with a stiff brush next time then lightly washing it off after an hour or so. Not sure about areas with grass nearby though.
Now that’s nice n cheap!

Just Google builders yard near you as postage wouldn't be cheap and I'm NI. I got mine from a person that sells coal and oil near me when the builders yard was out of stock.

It's the work involved. Like cheap paint. Not worth skimping for the effort involved.
