wow I hope they have this at my local one

I've got this in the house! It's a true Christmas classic! He's so mean!!

Banned

make it so

How much for two of them?

In fact, I think you're the bravest man I have ever known

Be aware it is region 0 - if that makes a difference to anyone?

Zero just means that either no region flag or all region flags have been set, meaning it can be played anywhere.

If anyone wants to watch the original and Sky+ it, Scrooge on Sky channel 327 with Alastair Sim is on this afternoon at 5.00 pm - makes me have goose pimples every time I watch it!

OP hot deal by the way

Make it snow...

thats not the original one...although its very good version....there is a 1938 version...back to this one with Captain Picard...one of the best IMO....yes yes I love this story and have seen a few over the years and started to collect them few years back...

I expect this will be free with a newspaper again this year.

I've no idea if this film is any good but the audiobook, that is to say Patrick Stewart's reading of A Christmas Carol, is excellent.

This and the Bill Murray one best versions imo

You there, boy, can you tell me what day it is?

Why, it's Stardate 251211, sir!

Marvellous! Do you know that Replicator on C deck? Go there now and conjour up the biggest turkey they've got and I'll give you a... a... umm, space shilling.

I stand corrected I really like all of them, to me it is like the Coke advert, when they start showing these films you know its Christmas.

Is this the Original B&W or the colourised version (on Sky)?
The Colourised version makes me want to heave every time I see it...B&W is a masterpiece though.

The Patrick Stewart version gives that one a run for its money, though - Excellent spot, OP

Similar scenario for Sherlock Holmes.
Jeremy Brett was very good, but for me Basil Rathbone will always be the definitive Holmes.

I heard recently of a version with George C Scott, can't say I've seen it. Amazon reviews are 4.5 stars. Anyone know about this one?
