Alright, This is cheap, it's fantastic RAM and ticks all the boxes as to what I need.... Yet I can't bring myself to order it because RAM prices have dropped so much. It's paralyzed me in a state of "forever waiting for it to be free".

Anyone got this working at rated speed with a ryzen 3600 on a tomahawk max? Many thanks.
I have 16gb (2x8) Vengeance Pro 3600MHz DDR4 on a Tomahawk Max, would I be able to fit these too as I have heard 4 is better than 2 (something to do with ranks) or would it cause issues not being the same brand, same batch etc.
cant see it getting any cheaper on BF, pulled the trigger & ordered
How do these compare to the Patriot Viper Steel ? Are Blackout series a better model / series ?

Had been looking at those too, think they are essentially the same RAM?

Impression I am getting comparing them both on PC part picker. Looking at a kit to add to a new build. 3600x MSI Tomohawk Max .
I guess be little difference, nothing I am going to notice.

Seem to have same timings etc just different heatspreader to me. I'll be going a v similar build just the non-x 3600. Fingers crossed it works at rated speed

Going none X as well after reading not worth the extra money. I never bother overclocking so why pay for the funtion.

You don’t need 4, your mother board probably supports dual channel ram, which means if your ram sticks are in slots 2 & 4 your motherboard will be able to use both at once instead of one at a time.
Also 16gb of ram is more than enough these days, any more it’s just overkill and just wasting money

Thank you for the advice.... advice taken will be saving my money, sticking with my 16gb and using banks 2 and 4. Thank you again fellow deal seeker.
The title says 3600Mhz but details in text in ebay listing says 3200Mhz, which is it?

Has anyone with this kit achieved CL16 @ 3600MHz?

The part number is for 3600 and most of the text says 3600 apart from the one place so more than likely it's higher speed.

I'm returning mine to Amazon. Wasn't stable on my board at CL17. Gb B450 Auros Pro. May be the board though. It was Hynix not samsung if any one is interested.

Ah okay, that's interesting to know. I was thinking about pairing them with an x570 Aorus Master; I'm looking for a kit that can achieve CL16 @ 3600MHz with a small overclock.
Is this RAM B-die ?
