Seems like a good deal.

If you can add a bit more voltage and drop those timings and you're looking at a beast kit.

To be fair it already looks like a beast kit.
Wow the price of RAM really is coming down. It's not that long ago these were over £100!
Has Anyone tried those with b450 tomahawk max motherboard?

Has Anyone tried those with b450 tomahawk max motherboard?

Doesn't say it's supported on the QVL list:

msi.com/Mot…MAX

Although I'd be suprised if it didn't play well with a 3xxx chip.

I did find this however:

Question:

Would the 3733mhz viper steel 16gb work fine with a Ryzen 5 3600 and b450 tomahawk max

Answer:
Ss long as the motherboard is compatable with DDR 4 ram it can run it, however you will more than likley have to overclock the ram to use the full 3733mhz its capable of.

I have the 3600 kit on a 3600X and a x570 taichi, but I needed to do quite a lot of tweaking to get it to run at 3600mhz. It will work, but there's a good chance xmp won't be able to post.

Yes

Can you definitely achieve 4GHz on this RAM?
Just set XMP profile and go?

I recall it used being hit and miss due to cpu/motherboard capability.
Hopefully things have improved over the years.
Are these Samsung B die? Anyone got a set to check?

According to the manufacturer’s info, it’s supposed to be based on Samsung’s B-Die memory chips.
