Good drive maybe a little chunky though

Nice, but I'm going to wait for USB3 flash drives to make their debut.

£15.57 now... rubbish was going to get one! Might still by though unless cheaper elsewhere now?

Cheers
Phil

But the computer you are plugging it into has to support USB3 too - not much point in waiting for USB3 unless you are planning to upgrade all your PCs/laptops

Quite a few motherboards have this now, I know the one I bought end of Jan does. I am waiting for the new SATA 6Gb/s SSD's and USB 3.0 flash drives to drop in price myself, a little pricy at the moment:

When you can get 8GB USB 3.0 Flash for £30 and SATA 6Gb/s for under £1/GB then I am going to pull the trigger

Not really that fast to be honest. Try the Corsair flash voyager gt range for speed!

Mine writes at 21mb/s

Its only a £1 more than it was before...

please unexpire as this is back to £14.24:thumbsup:

Have had one of these sticks (8gb patriot xt) for over a year now, very fast write rate and hasn't failed yet, although I bought it for about the same price

Turned up today - says "new & improved 200X read speed".

Can't compain ;-)

Back to lower price.. should unexpire
