First album I ever bought, still have it on cassette somewhere.

2nd album was True Blue by Madonna, not sure how my tastes changed so quickly, hormones I guess

Your taste didn't change. Your eyes started noticing thing you previously didn't see...

To be fair, the Madonna album came with a massive poster of her in a leather jacket which hung off her shoulder to expose boob encased in a lacy bra.

I remember the book that was released on her early pre-fame, modelling days
I still have the original CD from the 80s somewhere.

It is a funny thing but I bought every album by Simon and Garfunkel as they were issued but after they split I never liked anything by Simon. Seemed strange at the time. And that is without involving the Beatles. Lennon was the best.
A must have for any music lover, truly fantastic mellow album

My god I forgot my fav band - The Isley Brothers. Most people might not know of them but their music is perhaps the most ever used for TV adverts. They gave Hendrix his big break in music and more recently - yes still going - they've produced an album with Santana. Oh perhaps also I should mention Steely Dan, unique music that just keeps fresh with amazing lyrics that take you on an adventure. I really could go on for ever - The Hollies, Frank Sanartra, Thin Lizzy, Black Sabath ..
I use this album to test any new hi fi. Very well recorded!
Graceland - One of the twenty best albums ever created.
And the above - the fabulous Isley Brothers. None of their albums anywhere close to the top 20 of any particular YEAR let alone all time - BUT their music IS blissful thanks to one of the greatest voices in music. Ronald Isley
