Pay As You Go - All in One £15 will be ENDING in the next few weeks! @ Three

Just bought this sim card as going away soon..

but wanted to check with three and the guy told me that this package is going to be removed from PAYG in the next few weeks.. so if you want it.. get it now. because a PAYG package should not be cheaper then a contract one. He told me to many people are getting the sim card to go on holiday. so if your thinking of getting one.. better be quick! He said its going to be ending but I reckon the price will be hiked up!

I was on the phone to Three a few months ago when they put the Pay Monthly prices up. They mentioned that in the coming months this would be happening. I quickly popped myself on their £17 a month tariff and managed to get them to add on 2000 3 to 3 minutes too which was pretty easy. I lived on this deal for ages since it was a lot more convenient. A shame is had to go, but it was imminent I guess.

I am on three Contract, it can't be beaten in terms of speed and reliability.

Last month I used 45GB of data, max monthly usage is 112GB and Three haven't said a thing.

Try doing that on giffcrap's "Unlimited************* Internet" You are not supposed to use the slow internet when your phone is charging up! Read the forums!

With Three, you really do get All You Can Eat.

Noooooooo..... That's what TalkTalk's Superfast Fibre Plus was for 335GB so far this month (GTA 5 was 90GB of it)

My mobile usage is Spotify/Deezer/Google Play Music (Whichever is on trial) and straming movies. As a HGV driver I get a lot of time to watch movies whilst being unloaded and the Music is on over the BT Radio, I never listen to FM/DAB Radio anymore. Three has changed my life

How much is the sim? And what's inclusive?

£15

300 minutes
3000 texts
AYCE Data
No Tethering

And the use of it in the Feel at Home destinations

if I am correct.

They should still be keeping the 321 tariff. I don't see the point of telling people to buy it if they will want it in the future. If they pull it then you won't be able to renew to "Package"

From my conversation I remember having, it was only the add ons I think they were changing. No idea if this was a price increase or similar or not. The 123 element was staying though. Although from most conversations to customer service employees on the phone and sales, they'll say many different things.

I hope not. I used to have GiffCrap, calls dropping all the time, GPRS Internet (Timeout on loading google.com), Rubbish signal and much more.

On Three I get 30MBPS Download speed, 10-15MBPS Upload on HSDPA-DC (Not even 4G)

I was in an EE Shop when they launched 4G and were saying it was the best thing since sliced bread. I was interested until they told me all the tariffs were capped at stupidly low data amounts. I ran a speedtest on the demo phone and got 7MBPS, ran it on my Three phone which wasn't on a 4G connection and it got 18MBPS.

From the conversation I had with three, the allowances in other countries only apply to contract/ pay monthly and not applicable to PAYG.

No, but it is renewed every month, they will just not renew when it lapses

Incorrect. Although you can only use your allowances on PAYG if you have an Add On which is a mixture of calls, texts and data.

Data is capped at 25GB,
Calls are capped at 2000 I believe
and texts at 3000. Unsure if they have changed it since.

Coreydeals

No Tethering

It can not distinguish a tablet from a phone, so if you tether an Android Phone and an Android Tablet, or an iPhone and iPad it will work.

I have also tethered to a PC before on the £15 deal and it hadn't picked it up either.

The caps sound about right, but these only apply abroad.

In the UK AYCE -IS- AYCE

Reckon I pop the sim into my iPad Air and use the data.

Probably the better wording is "No Tethering" although since you're on PAYG give it a punt anyway. I think I have tried it a few times and it was being incredibly slow. Great advice though. A better deal than the monthly plans too since the sim only is capped at 4GB and the plans with a phone are 2GB.

That would be flagged very quickly by the IMEI number on three's systems.

It iscalled PAYG add-s on

Surprised as this the the tariff my sister was on but when she needed a nano sim they refused the honour this sim only deal saying it was ending, even though she had not cancelled the contract just simply bought a new iPhone that took a different sizes SIM card.
As for using ayced in a tablet I think three caught on with this and when they can see only data and no other allowance has been used they won't allow it to work in the iPad etc, sure I read that a few week ago

Just make sure you use all you minutes up each month ... pop it in a phone and make a few calls to t mobile support... waiting will eat it up at least 1 hour per call and they'll hang up for you so you dont get charged...

Hah my iPad Air 2 never gets used, pretty much just use my phone for anything the iPad can do x

Hmmm. Tempted. How often do you need to top-up if you don't use the calls/texts?

Not really a deal is it?

It's always been this price and once they change the structure of the payg options it's gone within 30 days.

More of a heads up really that you should use it while you can.

Very true.....

It's possible to queue these bolt ons. I wonder if it's possible to buy 90 quids worth of credit and queue up 6 months worth?

If you go direct to the 3 website it has gone up to £20

Would be stupid to completely remove this type of tariff add-on that only lasts for 30 days as data usage will only increase over time. As far as I can see it will be price increases all round on these tariff add-ons. My take on this would like this below;

All in One 15 All-you-can-eat 300 3000 £15 could become => All in One 20 All-you-can-eat 300 3000 £20.
All in One 25 All-you-can-eat 500 3000 £25 could become => All in One 30 All-you-can-eat 500 3000 £30.

If you're on Android and don't want to set up routing and what not then purchase fox-fi. Well worth it and hides the tether

Your right, and it still would be good offerings when you compare it to the inferior services offered by the older networks still running on GPRS/2G
