You cant but once you have this you can make calls or text from your ipad with a virtual Vectone account using their app.

Interestingly you receive top up texts from EE on the ipad, but no way of replying. need to put sim in a phone. This is only twice a year if using the 6 month option. You cant even send a text to the top up number using EE's send a text online option if logged into their web portal.

ee also do a £1 per week deal that gives you 100MB data, 10 SMS & 10 mins calls. Obviously only for very light users. After every 12 topups you can choose from an extra free 25MB/10 SMS/10 min per week.

you just put sim in to iphone top it up £20 and text them soon as you receive confirmation text take out pop in ipad

bit of advice,if you top up the 20 pounds, turn off the internet on your phone first!! as soon as you top up the phone will connect to the internet and bring your balance down to 19.98 making you have to top up another fiver! i always make the CS activate the bundle for me

They'll normally refund the 2p if you call them up when stuff like this happens.

Thats exactly what happened to me last time I tried this. And then I had a long chat with myself on do I even need a SIM for my ipad now?

so is this £20 for unlimited internet for 6 months? or is it limited to 1GB only? then what happens after 6 months are up?

After topping up £10 you get unlimited texts for one month from the 1st of the following month.

Pay as you go customer? If you have a compatible phone, you can text 6MONTHWEB to 441 for free from your T-Mobile phone to buy our 6-month Booster giving you 6 months of unlimited internet browsing on your phone.

We'll send you a text to let you know when your Booster is ready to use. We'll start counting your 6 months straight away and we will let you know when your Booster runs out.

If you choose an Android phone, as it's always connected to the internet, once your Booster has run out you'll then automatically be charged up to £1 a day to browse the internet. See the legal stuff and fair use policy at t-mobile.co.uk/ser…se/

You'll need internet coverage, check it at t-mobile.co.uk/str…eck Remember that you can only use internet on your phone in the UK and you can't use your phone as a modem or use internet on your phone for peer-to-peer file sharing, or making internet phone calls.

This Booster comes with a fair use policy of 1GB a month. We'll monitor how much you send and receive each calendar month so that we can protect our network for all our customers. If you use more than your fair use policy amount, we won't charge you any more, but we may restrict how you can use internet on your phone, depending on how often you go over your amount and by how much.

Is this 4G or 3G data?

I was using this, up until i got my free 2 month internet bundle from dan and phil, that expires at the end of the month, will use up my 4gb on 2 asda sims, then go back on this, thats if there is not another freebie by then! been using this deal for about a year.

if only this worked with their infamous £0.00 sim.

It's 3G. Been using it for a couple of years too. I have mine in a mobile wifi router and it's great. It won't stop working after 1GB of usage, they sometimes slow the connection down though.

T Mobile don't have 4G...do they? Thought you had to sign up with EE to get 4G.:|

Is it T-Mobile, Orange, EE or BT now? Hope they our the whole branding company overlay.

Hi my uncle uses a T-Mobile dongle on laptop. tops it up every month or so.

is there any way he could use this deal with it would be great saying

heat added.

From the T&C (Would this cause an issue if I put the sim in my Ipad?

I've been using this in my ipad for a couple of years, its great. You can still browse internet and check emails once the 1GB runs out which is all i really use my ipad for.

I'd be on this like late night reductions at Morrisons bakery if there were an EE signal in my house. Heat.

any TCB?

Can you use the £1 Talk and Text pack at the same time as this 6 month web one?

You're paying £15 PER month, whereas you're paying £20 for 6 MONTHS? What do you not understand in this deal? Not everyone needs minutes/text

If you can plan it's useful to top up in 2x £10 lumps before the 6 months runs out to make the use of the rewards.

When I used it it was 1GB 'fair use', data keeps working after that but it said vaguely "web and email" only. I think they probably have traffic management that stops various streaming services working, rather than it being strictly limited by ports etc.

Criminals. It used to be £10 for 1 year data. Now data is getting cheaper and they decide to charge more. It's like fuel prices. Lol

Would be perfect for Facebook on ipads

Not a deal. This is the usual price. Been getting this for my son for more than 2 years.

It is unlimited browsing and not capped at 1Gb.
I got hit this year when they didn't tell me my 6 months were up and I was consuming my credits

same here....they're supposed to send you a text 3 days before the 6 months run out....but they didn't....twice! and you find out you're paying daily for your data when you're credit runs out. If you buy a 6 month booster make sure you remember when it runs out so you can buy another 6 months worth without having your credit spanked!

It's an ongoing deal then. You mean "this is not a sale".

Trying to figure out if it's worth my jumping from three 321 pack. 30p a min, 12p a text and getting charged £1 a day for browsing when I inevitably forget to top up makes me think twice.

Does 6MONTHWEB work with EE sims or do you need an older T-Mobile sim?

No, that's not what I mean.
