This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

My first post so please take it easy please.

Got this on email from PayPal this evening. Might be account specific so worth checking your inbox. Hopefully posted correctly as well.

Email reads;

Got your eye on something in the Black Friday sales?

Apply for PayPal Credit and, if approved, get £20 on us when you spend your first £40.

Not only that, but you’ll enjoy 0% interest for 4 months on any purchase £99+.

Perfect for spreading the cost of larger purchases.

How it works:

Click on the ‘Enrol and Apply’ button and apply for PayPal Credit by 9th December

If accepted, simply spend £40 with your PayPal Credit account by 9th December

If you’re one of the first 4,000 to do the above, you’ll receive £20 in your PayPal account!

I've added the link I have below, again might be specific to the email I had but worth a try

I got £30 off £50 but only first 4000 qualifying customers . And no way of knowing if your within the 4000 until after you purchase something
Be careful with these clowns. Don't select the instalments option otherwise you have to pay interest straight away rather than the 0% after 4 months.

Customer service was all automated and didn't want to know.

Cold from me. Don't think credit should be encouraged here.
I had £10 in offer..
Added: Didn't go for it thinking of having less chance of being among the ''SUPER 4000''..So passed it.

Yes for current credit customer, randomly they're sending the offer. I got one this morning.
Nothing for me but heat added anyway.

I got the email but don't fancy a hard credit check just about a month after doing a balance transfer. Still hot.

Been with them for years and they’ve increased my credit several occasions. Only downside I have is the credit is fixed with them, you can easily move it to a new credit card which may have a lower apr. You’d need either a loan or a balance transfer card to be able to conciliator debts if you were to build one up

I think this is for people who use them for credit so I hope the 'offer' will never apply to me thankfully.

Everyone that this is applicable to has already been notified via email, haven't they? So not sure it's really a post-worthy 'deal' as such tbh...

This is for people who don't use them for credit, hence they're trying to get them to sign up.

Although my finances are in good shape and I have a near excellent credit score, I never qualify for credit of any sort. Be that for Amazon, PayPal, credit cards I'm always rejected. I have absolutely no idea why. It might be because of my very modest income.
Nothing in my mailbox but voted hot!

Lol if you have ever had credit and always paid it all back without paying any interest whatsoever in a certain period of time then there is your answer. These companies need to make money and if they never incur any interest fees from you then they will simply refuse you.

My credit rating is good (in the middle) and have 80% of the time been accepted, be it 0% offers or buy now pay later.

I've never had credit before which may be the reason why I'm always refused credit? Just got my first credit card this week for this very reason. Which is just about the only credit card I got accepted for after all these years. And I think that's only because I bank with them so they 'know me'.

Ah well that answers that also. Just make sure you spend within your means and pay it off with no late fees and you will build up a credit history in no time. BTW have you never gotten a phone on contract? To be fair my first credit card, although not technically a card was paypal and they offered me £2000 credit which I never use more than 25%. PayPal is excellent for the 4 months 0% interest offers on orders over £99.
4000 have already applied
Wow got declined credit. Never had that before. I guess they’ve done a hard check too. Got loads of credit cards already and all kept paid. Used for stoozing.

In my starting years of buying phone contracts I got rejected by everyone besides 3. I have stayed with 3 ever since. I think their credit check is a bit softer (if that's even possible) so those with my type of problem can get in.

Thanks for the advice by the way.

Yeah they do a hard check. My hard check from last year (PayPal) will come off next month.
4000? That won't last long. I won't try I'm certain to not be accepted.
Be careful with these clowns. Don't select the instalments option otherwise you have to pay interest straight away rather than the 0% after 4 months.

They do these quite often and they are account specific, I've got nothing this time. I signed up to PayPal credit last year in a similar offer, spent what I needed to, got the freebie and didn't use it again.

A few months later, they email you an offer to spend a certain amount and get free PayPal credit. I did that, got the credit, stopped using it.

Repeat to fade - I think I've had three or four offers in the last 12 months, the last in October where it was spend £30 and get £10 credit. It's not a fortune, but given my credit score is decent and I'm spending the money anyway, I might as well get something for effectively nothing

Thanks for the heads up, how do you change the setting please?
I tried this last year and had no idea if I qualified as only the first 3-4000 do. And then after a while I did not receive any credit so guess I didn't make it in time. Bit of a farce really as you have to get it the moment you receive the email as 4000 is not a lot! I wouldn't try it now
How do you know if you got it ?
Nearly 15 years on PayPal and I can count on one hand how often deals like this have applied to me
In other words how do you know 4000 limit has been reached ?
