Meh, I ain't hunting heat. If you need a card reader you'd probably look in here anyway.

No, I posted twice because they were (slightly) different prices for different sellers. The only reason I post deals is so that other people can benefit from them - I’ve got nothing to gain from them

Agree that Sumup is excellent. Been using them for 3 years, lowest rates, card reader always works well.

i'm using paypal here and it is working perfectly fine, and the whole point of paypal here is to have the money instantly in your account (litteraly instantly) i even use the online paypal dashboard on my computer to print my receipts, so i just take the payment, refresh the paypal page to see the money and print the receipt i also just found about the paypal access card which would be usefull to use the paypal money from a card (to buy my business stock), tht would be the best combo for small businesses honestly that's really usefull, rather than waiting a few days to get a bank trensfer i have about £1000 card payments every month and i'm paying about £30 fees for paypal, and it worth it i think, and it also have an online invoice so people can pay by card or paypal through a link sent by email also i just checked sumup and i see a lot of restricted businesses and i would not even be able to use it as i kind of do a "door to door" service..

sum up is rubbish. customer service are morons. Left them 2 years ago for izettle and never looked back.

Paypal credit is good! Better than shop specific credit as lots of shops take it. Also 4 months offer is on again and again. Don't want to keep on getting a new crefit card every time. If I buy something for £250 i don't really need a 24 month offer! 12/24 months available on ebay too

brilliant tool so spread costs for four months! i use it for flights and hotels mainly

I used it myself last weekend. Really simple system to use. I will admit when I saw the cold I was thinking "oh dear what did i miss in the small print" thankfully all these positive comments re-reassured me it was all good.

Used it earlier this week to get a phone, very useful to have.

Thanks op. Didn't know this could be used again and again. (y)

will this work with ebay?

Not if you organise return through the seller. Hermes will just provide a bar code with destination address to stick on your item. They will not provide a receipt or an invoice which Paypal will need for a refund.

thank you, i did it, and returned the item even though the seller accepted the return for %20 charge as it was over the 14 days return limit, but paypal refused to pay for it after finding out that the item was out of return timeframe (even the seller accpeted it still) shame!!!

Hermes provide receipts too.

It shows dollars in that link so it's a US link. I read on the UK page it seemed to exclude business accounts so that's why I thought I couldn't use this with a business account. Anyway Paypal downgraded me so I sorted it out like that. Can anyone clarify this that's in the screenshot? Thanks.

A FULL Month subscription at Better Leisure Centre for the price of DAY PASS!! £6.88 (Paypal Account Holders only)

Offer doesn't rely on going through PayPal. Can confirm you will be offered the one month for the price of one day as long as it's a new account (only for certain gyms). I found that for the higher value gyms (above £8 for a day pass) you don't get the pop up with the offer. I selected a day pass at a village hotel gym for £7.50 and was offered a month pass for £7.50.

Thanks op. My gym is undergoing a refurb and I was looking at going elsewhere until it's finished, this will be perfect.

This is actually an old offer unrelated to Paypal or Better Gym.

You will need to cancel after 14 days. That will ensure u have full access for rest of the days. This is what I get from the website - "If you cancel after 14 days of your first Monthly+ Pass payment, you will continue to have access until the end of your current payment cycle. No refunds will be given for cancellations made after the 14 days after your first Monthly+ Pass payment."

I think it will cancel the membership but you should still get access to the rest of the month.. I will email them for a double check

No, it just added £115 to my balance. I did it through the iTunes app on iPhone. Perhaps if I’d redeemed through Apple Music the option would’ve been there.

Yup I had a business Paypal account running about £5k a week through it then ordered a Paypal Here and suddenly I had a 14 day hold on my account. Took weeks to sort out and then they admitted the Here added to the account had added a hold. So I stopped using Paypal and went to Izettle. Paypal's support a the time was absolutely attrocious I would never let them handle payments for my business again :-( Thanks for the cherry pie nom nom nom

OK, I disagree with all your points :) In any case nobody is forced to buy these. For some they will be ideal.

nothing contradictory there.

I'd wager if you don't have 100 a month turnover, cash will probably do :) Or pay yourself 100 quid. You'll lose like 2 quid in fees.

If you want to offer online payments as well, that's where it gets complicated. Not all payment providers operate in the UK, some only offer an in-person service ( iZettle and sumup ), and your website hosting company only accept certain ones anyway. I don't have a site yet, although looking into it, but paypal is straight forward. It offers both online/offline services with a cheapish POS device and is accepted by most hosting companies, but you pay for that privilege at 2.75% per transaction. Square ( squareup ) is slightly cheaper at 2.5% online/keyed in ( chip and pin/contactless 1.75% ) but not accepted by many hosting companies. Adyen ( ebay's new payment provider ) looks to be 1.6% online, but you have to have a turnover of at least 100 euros per month, and the POS terminal looks expensive ( no prices on their website, but they are not small cheap looking things that paypal/square etc. offer ). As someone else said, it might be cheaper to have two payment providers, one for offline and one for online, but it is then more admin and accounts to keep track of.

Can someone please for the love of god give me a step by step guide how to purchase the credit on the switch. I don't have an option to add funds using paypal on my switch. Only credit card and nintendo eshop card and i can't for the life of me know how to link/add paypal to it. I can't even find how to alter the payment type or remove the credit card. So confused it's unreal.

I redeemed the offer before it expired. I just made the purchase and got £5 off. You'll find add funds by clicking your icon in the top right corner of the eshop.

Thanks. Yeah I claimed and it’s showing on my PayPal expiring on 20th December, just wondered if you could buy gift cards on the Eshop, will set the console up then and purchase, cheers

You need to set it up via the console , also if did not claim the link above in time you won't be able to save the £5. You can't buy Nintendo credit from the eShop.

anyone able to point me in direction of the gift cards page on the eshop for Switch on a browser? I haven't linked my account to a console yet as it hasn't been set up, do I need to do that first? Thanks

Don't sell to lying / chavvy / morons and it won't come back is a better phrase. No but really, the thing's people come out with on eBay is amazing, from "fake!!" to "not as described" doesn't matter if listing is 100% and packaging and product is 100% if you sell a lot on eBay you will come across eejits now and then. Middle aged women tend to be the biggest liars and con artists out of the 10 or so problem buyers I've experienced.

So is this site called HotUKReminders?

If only the bidder could be relied upon to read the description, you might have a point.

Don't sell crap and it won't come back!

I spoke with a reliable "man who knows all about diesels" a few years ago and he told me Shell was the best fuel. Not only that when I put the V-Power in my tank the increase in performance and the smoothness of the engine of my Peugeot 206 1.4HDi was breath-taking. If you want a nice smooth ride with more performance best go Shell (strong)

Yeah I'm with you. Never understand why companies promote these new apps and they fall flat on their faces

If you can bothered I'd push them a bit harder because the guy I talked to clearly knew Shell has issues. Maybe I was cut some slack for reason, who knows. I'll stick to avoiding Shell because their app suck.

Gave them a call but no such luck. They told me everything looked spot on their end and to contact shell to see if they might give me a voucher for goodwill. Think I'll stick to paying with card going forward. Thanks for the tip though

You can't buy a house using Paypal, don't be so pedantic. I care about my fellow human. If that bothers you, good.

As if we are going to ever pay it back

You could also just not comment, and not be bothered on other people's behalf too. People are here to get value for money, or find out about good deals, offers, perks and tricks that could save them money, or help them along a little bit. Credit can often do this. Most people don't come here for debt counselling. With Christmas coming up, this offer from paypal could help make it that little bit better for someone. And to say, 'if you can't afford it, don't buy it' is a huge generalisation. Should we all just rent houses forever?
