I don't know if I managed to grab it from May but grabbing the DLC worked, so I presume I have it? I suppose I'll find out when I'm back to my PC...
Thanks Buzz..
Ultra HD texture pack is also free.
Sorry, you don’t have a prerequisite to purchase this pack

Their search is just plain funky. It couldn't find the DLC or Ultra HD texture pack.

Their store is awful. Epic Launcher is terrible in general, and instead of putting money into improving it, they're bribing Devs with exclusivity deals instead of making it a platform people actually want to move over to.

I don't know why they get so much hate, I have about 5 different launchers on my pc now all for different game developer studios. Epic is by no means the only competition to Steam and it gives us so much free, quality content. I think people just hate on it because it's the cool thing to do.

Because having 5 different launchers to play your games is ridiculous.
It sets a bad precident when EPIC can buy up massive game studios and force people onto their platform. I have nothing against Devs using both steam and epic, but forcing users onto a fundamentally un-user friendly client for a quick buck sucks.

I agree that devs should give users a choice rather tha forcing them to use Steam. Steam is nightmare - it doesn’t seem to have proper patch notes nor does it update games automatically.

I've never had issues with updates on Steam, the patch notes do suck though.

And at least it has a proper shopping cart, a working friends system, and achievements.

I don’t really use those features aside the achievement system which is dire and desperately needs an overhaul.

In fact, I was rather peeved off when Steam introduced a “shopping cart” back in the day as it added extra steps to the checkout process just to save them money on credit card processing fees.

The other big advantage is that other stores also don’t spam you with junk like cards, vouchers etc - they are nowhere near as intrusive as Steam.

You have to click into Borderlands 2 to see the available extras for it. Stops the search getting clogged.
Cheers
Anyone else getting an impossible mouse with cheese captcha puzzle? The audio verification also doesn't work.

I've been impressed with how seemlessly Playnite brings all the stores under a single umbrella.
You still need the various clients installed, but everything else (installing, launching, uninstalling games) is handled entirely within Playnite.
Moreover its interface is pretty good, certainly superior to the 'new' Steam interface.

GOG Galaxy 2.0 is similar to Playnite but a bit more refined and less buggy (although still buggy)
As I used to play this on steam and wanted to play through this DLC would my Characters still have all the gear and levels etc upon signing into the epic version of the build?
