“You should buy Invisible, Inc. because, like I said, I think it’s the best turn-based strategy game to come out in years. But you should love it because it’s a creative endeavour that offers such rich moments. Just don’t let this sneaking masterpiece slip you by.”
Rock, Paper, Shotgun

“I already gave it a Game of the Year award.”
10/10 – Destructoid

“This is a game anyone who cares for tactics, espionage or just good times on a PC really needs to check out.”

ABOUT THIS GAME

Take control of Invisible's agents in the field and infiltrate the world's most dangerous corporations. Stealth, precision, and teamwork are essential in high-stakes, high-profit missions, where every move may cost an agent their life.

Klei Entertainment, the independent studio behind the hit games Mark of the Ninja and Don't Starve, presents: Invisible, Inc.Key Features
  • Character selection: Start with any of the 10 unlockable agents in the game, plus 6 agent variants, and 6 starting programs to crack corporate security.
  • Deep customization of builds: each play through is different as you create your own strategy using agents, items, augments and programs, and adapt to your surroundings.
  • Randomly generated world: locations, threats, and loot are randomly generated so each playthrough is vastly different and you’ll never get complacent.

I must admit , I have started to enjoy turn based games much more recently and ARPG's my pile of shame of unplayed games is building pretty shiftly.
So very tempted as I've heard lots of good things about this, but also have a Steam List Of Shame to plough through, and it'll be this cheap again in the future...

HUKD has taught me this: If I only buy cheap games with great reviews, my pile of games will still grow faster than I can finish it...
Got this in a bundle, enjoyed it enough to complete it and that's increasingly rare these days.

Completing a game is a very rare thing to do these days , games are so big these days .
To clarify, I mean completed the main story quest on normal difficulty, I didn't go after every achievement. Who has time for that?
Thanks OP, not heard of this but it looks great, I've always had a soft spot for turn based games being the old skool gamer that I am

Loved games like Laser Squad etc in the past (oh how I wish that game was remade)

I had laser squad on my spectrum. But had no idea what to do in it. I now love xcom etc and so wish could have got into laser squad when younger!

I have so many unplayed games though from xmas sales and bundles!
Highly recommend this. It's pretty short but with plenty of replay as you crank up the difficulties or run different characters and tactics. Got a great risk/reward element, you're often wondering if you should pull out of the mission safely when you've done the main objective or to push on further for more cash and weapons. I got this cheap ages ago with the DLC but when I finally got round to playing it I was hooked instantly.
Great Game, very tough but great all the same

For Xcom etc fans
