I could not believe the price difference at GOG.com £39.99 UK price (Currently £26.99 CDkeys), yet only £16.27 based on the Russian price.

One of the big benefits of buying games from GOG.com is that they are DRM FREE

*** VPN is only required for purchase not during game play *** Very easy method , takes around 5 minutes.

I have purchased using my regular UK GOG account with my UK registered credit card , you can also use paypal , please see below for the easy to follow method.

I recently also purchased and installed Divinity Original Sin 2 , currently 14 hours in, without running a VPN during game play , same for the Witcher 3.

The game page quotes that it is in full English text and English Audio.

*** What are GOG.com terms and conditions when it comes to using VPN for buying games using a VPN :- their only opinion as stated on their website is :- "that's not cool."

support.gog.com/hc/…ent
6.11. Please treat this system sensibly and don't exploit it (for example by using VPNs or other methods to manipulate how your location appears) – that's not cool.

**** The Method I used for buying the game:-

Used my VPN subscription service ( ivacy.com) set to Russia

*** I found Opera browser worked the best for me , fresh download , all history and cookies cleared , only logged into GOG once the VPN was set to Russian ( I did run Google Chrome in tandem in another window using Google Translate , so I had a clue what was happening on screen) *****

1 )I Used my computer, Opera browser cleared history and cookies.(did work on my phone also using opera browser, I found chrome did not work , but prefer computer for this kind of thing anyway)

Surfed to the Kingdom Come Deliverance PC page (gog.com/gam…nce?pp=a93c168323147d1135503939396cac628dc194c5)

2)Added to my basket.

3)logged in using my regular GOG account.

4)Paid via visa card, you can pay via PayPal, **** Just disconnect VPN before login into your PayPal account.

Just waiting for release day now
If you are interested in Pillars of Eternity 2 (from £11.74) or Divinity Original Sin 2 (From £10.08) using the same method , then see the links below.

Absolute cringe that you care how other people save money.
Ethically very questionable to use VPN to buy this game but certainly better than pirating the game. Voting cold.

Using VPN gives devs more reasons to use DRM; then we'll all be complaining when nobody releases games through GOG and steam is the only option.

Please can you explain your comment further? I am clearly missing the point about Sunday morning people? Are you saying people who are awake during the morning on Sundays are unemployed and in receipt of benefits from the government?

Sadly using VPN these days is a common practice.

Well in UK you will also spend 5 times more for living e.g. rent, mortgage, food, services etc but overall poor russians have much worse. The thing is that poor russians dont buy games from legal sources. They pirate them anyway lol. Rich russians buy from legit sources but they can afford paying UK prices anyway.

Point is that if you want DRM free games buy from UK. You'll be the first one crying when theres new DRM and they justify it because of VPN.

How does DRM affect buying games via VPN?
Nice !

Shall do that with all my games now. Heat

Lol, you realise that the game is that price in Russia regardless??

If someone from UK buys the game through Russia, the devs are getting exactly the same money as someone from Russia buying from Russia.

The UK is basically ripped off on a daily basis.

It's tax evasion, specifically VAT. Plus the developers get less if royalty-based.
