I have EA Access on Xbox one and it looks like it's much better value on Xbox than PC.

Why do you say that?

more sports games on EA Access

Thanks Buzz..

Not bad, not bad.
Would be nice if we could use this trial during a holiday
And it'd be cool to know exactly when this offer ends too (_;)

They seriously need to merge xbox one access and pc access.

Might have to, just for mini metro

Seconded, this would be far more useful to me than a stingy 7 day free trial. I know free is free but really could they have made it much shorter? Well 24 hours I guess, but considering the standard for free trials is generally 14 or even 28 days it seems a bit tight fisted, but I guess this is the mighty EA afterall.

That aside, I like EA access and as Origin Access is effectively the same thing for PC I don't have a problem with that either, just cannot think of one good reason, aside from corporate greed, that a subscription for one, doesn't grant access to the other one....

It's 74 games over two platforms for £39.98 a year (the price of a new release). I think 'corporate greed' is a tad overkill

I think it's SUPER important to tell people that you must sign-up for this (yes, including payment gubbins) to get your 7 FREE days...

You can cancel before the end - yada yada - but you have to hand-over a payment method (card or PayPal) to get into this - kinda should mention that upfront here I think??

Most of the games aren't unique to either platform though. The number specific to PC/Xbox One is probably a handful at most making it poor value to have both so you have to pick one or the other, which is a shame for those that own both. I'd say the Xbox One EA Access has the edge with slightly more games and generally possible to get discounts on the sub through using different regions and in sales. However, as I upgrade my PC it would be nice to be able to enjoy some of my 'access' games in higher settings/resolution than the Xbox One's 900-1080P but can't because EA don't merge the sub.

Not saying it's bad value in general. It's great value for one platform just sucks that they are both treated as completely separate entities and having one grants you no benefit with regards to the other, I'd consider Origin Access at say 50% off for having EA Access but there is nothing of that kind available, seems EA miss a trick there not rewarding existing customers but again they are big and wealthy enough not to be bothered I guess...

Although I do appreciate what you're saying, and it's a valid point. I personally think, that if you make use of the service it's a bargain at £50 a year.

As we've previously discussed, I very rarely use EA Access at the moment, if at all. But it's arguably the best subscription service available for gamers, and a total cost over two platforms of just under £40, it's hard to knock it in anyway.

Has anyone played NFS or NFS Rivals from that list ?

You can cancel instantly, so you will not be charged, or you will not forget to cancel it.

No FIFA 17? lol

I have - I actually bought them a while ago. Both are pretty good.

anyone else have trouble with the origin app 90% of the time i use it i get a well that didn't go as planned message. i literally cant do anything, http://i67.tinypic.com/ip5hfm.png

Is the trial expired? Can't find it.
