I think it would be fine. It's an adventure game with a few mature themes but knowing what's kids see in films and other games, I would say there is a lot worse out there! I'd rather my kids play this than COD or 22 hours of Fifa per day!
This is on gamepass ultimate for those interested... Its not a long game so you can complete it fairly easily.
That was my buy in. Thanks...

It’s actually on the none ultimate version so even cheaper! If you’re a new customer you could finish this game for about a quid.

Personally, think they are a bit too young after having playing it. Few mature themes
Decent game but ridiculously easy. I couldn't bring myself to finish it because I was stomping so hard half way through the game on hard difficulty.

Better off buying game pass on PC. You can complete this easily and game pass has about 150+ games on the PC version.
On pc, I'd suggest just playing this on gamepass. It's only going to fall in price if you're after owning it yourself so there's no harm in waiting.

Unfortunately due to how unfrequently I manage to play my games, the game pass has never been an economic option for me, unfortunately...

Luckily for me I have a Ryzen and managed to grab an AMD code off eBay for £11 about 3 weeks ago... Might be worth a look for anyone with an AMD CPU or GFX

Obsidian who are the devs of this are owned by Xbox. It’s almost guaranteed that it’ll always be on gamepass.

It's more having a game pass subscription sitting there doing nearly nothing some months. (Unfortunately, wish I could play more)

If I could buy like 30 days of use that I could use when able rather than keep paying every month it would make more sense for me, personally.

I don't buy or play that many games but most I do get a fair few hours over the space of a year. (But again it might be 0 hours one month or 200 the next and then nothing again the next)

This is not like Forza horizon, in that once it's done I may not look at it for a long while if at all, but my £40 on horizon ultimate I think has been worthwhile, 4/500 hours between me and OH in seven months apparently... But literally here and there over the year, some months not even gaming. I probably only buy 2-4 games a year, and with Epic giveaways it's hard to justify a subscription? (Which surely will cost me more than 60-80 a year, which what I typically spend on games, preferring never to pay full price rather than buy on release)

£6.80 for 3 months from CDkeys is a bargain. You can stack em up to 3 years. Definitely worth the 2.30 a month.

That's not bad... Is that the xbox gold to gamepass conversion thing? Didn't think you could still do that... Cheers

Could be dangerous and make me neglect the kids

Have a punt, buy it for £6.79 on CDkeys (usually £ 8 and if it works, try stack another one, if it doesn’t work, sell it on eBay as they tend to go around £10.

This is the reason I have finally decided to buy a Gaming laptop. Got the hp omen 9750h 1660ti 15" laptop. So far completed darkness 2 in 2 days :).

My rig with gtx 1080 sits there in the man cave. May sell for parts
Thanks for those who mentioned it's on game pass - will give this a play at w/end

Nice...

Its only a 1050ti / 7700HQ in my lappy but it's enough for most games since i OC to 1898mhz, which I thought was pretty good given it's cooler than stock with an undervolt. I just don't seem to get the chance or too knackered by the time I get to game... Probably my fault for being too competitive and getting frustrated inside like a teenager when I'm not "on it"

It’s good. My 13 year old cat loves it.

It’s adult (human rated) but it’s not massively gruesome or sexual. There is violence in it. Language fairly tame.

Good story and a worthy first person adventure. Just be sure their computer meets it’s specification/ requirements to run it.
It's basically fallout but done right with a good game engine that's not 15 years old. Highly recommended to anyone who likes fallout especially new Vegas
Good game and well worth playing, but do the gaming industry a favour and don't buy it on the EGS - cheaper and much more sustainable to get the gamepass version.
