Reasonable price now considering what has happened with crypto.

Looks good, I'm looking for a 1080ti build as I have a 4k monitor. Voted hot. 🔥

Would be worth buying this, selling the 1080 at a massively inflated price and then just waiting for a normal priced 1080ti from like evga.com or something.

That's a thought..! Sell it and wait for ti or a new gen nvidia whenever it happens...!
This looks like an excellent deal if you believe that GPU prices will stay inflated for a while. those chips are often capable of 5 ghz + which is well worth it for the 6 cores.

Wonder if it would be possible to purchase and resell the Ram and GPU for a major chunk of that price?
Not sure why this is being voted cold considering it has one of the new Coffee Lake processors and other decent components - PC Specialist also has a 9.4 out of 10 rating on TrustPilot so it's +heat from me
This is great deal. Heat added
Damn, shame you can't modify it at all
I couldn’t build this for anywhere close to this price, nor would I change anything in there.

Trying to work out what the catch is. Supplier seems fine, but mentions a review unit in the fine print, but nothing further.

Reckon this is worth a shot?

Is a review build meaning it's somewhat secondhand? What's not upgradable about it?

It is definitely worth it! Not sure what review builds are exactly but they are definitely not second hand. They are built to order. Upgrade wise, most of the components you can upgrade. (RAM, GPU, Storage) As it has the most up to date CPU. You would only be able to use CPU's of the 8th generation (At the moment). However the i7 8700k is the best as of now.
Awesome.. this sounds exactly when I've been looking for tbh. I was considering doing a build but I'm a novice and have been waiting for something like this to come along.
If there anyway to save on buying Windows 10.. I have several old versions of Windows but not sure if it's worth it trying to move the keys over to a different unit.

Windows 10 is included for a 90 pound cost. you may choose to add or remove this .Potenetailly saving a further 90 pound.

a review build is jsut the same spec as one they had reviewed (probably at a lower than usual price so it looks better in review)
generally you are not allowed to modify the spec as they dont want you to use the base price AND get the flexibility of a different custom build

tbh i am surprised they even allow the removal of the OS
Did anyone end up buying this computer and if so, how are you finding it? I saw this deal a few weeks ago and I'm still considering it, so would be very grateful for any opinions

Looks like it is still available. It shows at £1391 after removing the OS. It is much cheaper than building your own so go for it!
I'm still considering it. Wondering how much difference the crypto currency is having on the price of this unit?

Surprisingly, I believe the price has stayed the same since it was released. PC Specialist seem to have not been hit by the crypto currency surge.
