Not terrible, not great. Good machine for those who don’t want to self build.

However I wouldn’t go near this due to lack of ssd. It’s just criminal these days.

Looks like a nice case

Looking for a good 1080 prebuilt deal, any advice would be massively appreciated

Low end VR system !.

It should actually be illegal to advertise a PC without an SSD as a "Gaming PC". No self respecting PC Gamer doesnt have one (or several) at this stage. Would be the first component on the list (nothing gives as much of a performance increase for so little outlay), mechanical storage is so passe!

If you want to play the pedant go ahead, nobody who has a gaming PC and modicum of sense would argue against the point (although inadvertently, yes. Mechanical drives inherently cause bottlenecks with background loading which whilst not affecting frame rates directly, will cause performance to degrade - the net effect of which is no different to inconsistent frame rates)

so no then, you could of just said no, not that hard two keystrokes.

The answer wasn't black and white. A closed response would not have been sufficient. I never even claimed an SSD would increase frame rate, you pulled that rabbit out of the hat yourself. My comment was simply that nothing gives as much of a performance increase for so little outlay - are you disagreeing?

I honestly dont even know what your point is at this stage, but whatever. Advocating people buy a gaming PC without a Solid State Drive is some of the worst advice ever, you should take note of your own critique.

no, at this price point a mech drive is miles better value than what, a 240GB SSD at best (remember the price point). That can fit 2/3 modern AAA games with the OS, wow, rather have 2TB TBH.

There's a reasonable argument for having both if you need a larger file repository and cant afford multiple/larger SSDs but I have a 500Gb SSD with all my games installed (including WoW which is an outlier as its an extreme size!) and have never struggled for space (OS is on a separate drive admittedly).

"2/4 modern AAA games, OS and WoW" would not add up to 240Gb, that's just pure hyperbole but if you have terrible broadband and want to maintain an installation of all the legacy games you might play again, then yes you probably need something larger

You brought it on yourself with the faux drama of your post, besides what has already been said regarding this price point.
