I'd get something a bit newer, and more powerful. This thing is pretty old now.

Can you recommend anything simiar in price?
the wifi driver on these is a nightmare when it gets the windows update and you have to try and piece it back together (think it was built for android and then modified to work in windows 10)

Does it need to be Windows. You can get some pretty capable Android boxes now for around £40.

Getting an i3 third or fourth gen ex-corporate PC from eBay will be cheaper, much more expandable, and more than twice as fast.

The only real reason to get one of these is if you particularly need a stick PC size.
Can it run Crysis?
when these drop to about £50 i'd get one if it had 4gb ram, but at that price a windows tablet seems better value. a bit bigger, but has the benefit of being able to use without a tv/monitor. of course i don't have much use for this, but want one to play around with, so the ability to stuck in a jeans pocket and go may be more useful to others. i have 3 windows tablets of different sizes and rarely use them, but with a keyboard case my 9" one isn't bad as a light travelling pc for browsing and remote access

You got a 14" telly then?

So out of interest, who actually makes the Wifi? Is it Intel themselves?
Just recall having 'fun' with an Intel Wifi driver and Windows 10 updates before on an older ThinkPad where someone had paid to 'upgrade' from the Realtek. The irony being that the simpler Realtek was fine with the Windows 10 update, but the Intel was not and Intel had no intention of updating the driver.

It is fixed now . You can even downgrade the driver . It was issue earlier with Windows not this . Mine works fine.

Yes , my Samsung and Huawei , ( now also OnePlus ) phones work as computer as well with Dex or Displayport alternate mode . But this has its own place.

Any Android phone from Lollipop (Android 5.0) onwards can work with a displaylink dock and the displaylink app. displaylink.com/dow…oid

Not sure I would bother and it would cost as much as this most likely. This does have a use case it just costs too much.

Buy a laptop, this is an over exaggeration in regards to space in London, even inside zone 1.
DO NOT BUY!
Had the Windows 8.1 version of this. RAM isn't enough as the stripped down OS takes up half the RAM. Storage space is also inadequate. WiFi is equally poor. And, then you need an additional charger for it!
This really isn't worth getting.

Only high end Samsung Galaxy 8, 9 ,10 , Huawei Mate 20 , P30 Pro and now OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 5G have Displayport Alternate Mode over usb C .
Displaylink is old and low resolution , does work on properly on phone/Android with usb 2.0( That is why they had MHL ) , only works on Microsoft PC/ laptop like this one with usb 3.0 or above .

You must have had 2gb or less ram model . Storage space can be increased with micro SD available upto 1tb .

Regardless of philosophical matters and opinions about prices and use of such windows sticks on the market, once on the price range of £50-£70 I might buy one just for the sake of having fun with it by messing with Linux distros, Chromium-like OSses and so on, especially if the processor might possibly support Virtualization, oh my that would be funny to engage.
If only kids would allow to have a digitsl fun life every now and then...someone said Kali?! Monitoring
No Xeon or i9 CPU, cold.
