ABOUT THIS GAME

Garrett, the Master Thief, steps out of the shadows into the City. In this treacherous place, where the Baron’s Watch spreads a rising tide of fear and oppression, his skills are the only things he can trust. Even the most cautious citizens and their best-guarded possessions are not safe from his reach.
As an uprising emerges, Garrett finds himself entangled in growing layers of conflict. Lead by Orion, the voice of the people, the tyrannized citizens will do everything they can to claim back the City from the Baron’s grasp. The revolution is inevitable. If Garrett doesn’t get involved, the streets will run red with blood and the City will tear itself apart.

Garrett never paid the price for anything… until now.Key Features:

Heat added but you’re gonna have more fun with Thief Gold and Thief II: The Metal Age imho... 69p each.... granted, if they’re not a nightmare to get running on modern operating systems ... *shrugs*

I found the best thing to do with this game was to turn off the hints , other wise it shows you where all the goodies are !!! turned it into more of a fun game for me.
5p is too much for this garbage

Well , that is a shame , I enjoyed the originals also , for anyone buying Thief today , I would recommend turning of the "Loot glint" option , it totally spoils the game as it shows you where all the goodies are located....kind of spoils the sense of adventure ...
I enjoyed it initially but it just gets very repetitive after a while. Some fantastic levels like the mental asylum, that was pretty scary.
Personally I enjoyed this, as well as being a fan of the earlier games. Crank the difficulty up, turn off the hints and you can have good fun being sneaky trying to steal everything not nailed down.

If you enjoyed the mental asylum and haven't played the earlier games, look for Thief Deadly Shadows and the (Shalebridge) Cradle mission. To this day that is the scariest set of levels I have played through in any game - on edge the whole time.
Tip top price for a slice of gaming history. Even the last iteration had its merits. If you haven’t crept your way through Shalebridge cradle yet in Deadly Shadows then for the price of a pint sleepless nights can be yours
Thats well cheap. About how much its worth though

Scariest game award for me has to go to Manhunt. I bought it again recently actually but haven't got round to playing it.
