Unbelievable price.

Fantastic price. Price surely makes me horny. Heated!

42" LED for under £300..... Bargain!

Thats my brother's present sorted :P

Good price telly nice one

Saw this in store at currys/pcworld Rhyl bargain price and there was a 4k lg for £649 but skinted after the kids Crimbo pressies but heyho!

Not bad price but skint after Christmas

I saw this in Pc World/Currys I'm Brighton last week, I nearly bought it for the sake of it, I'll probably get it tomorrow.

Can someone give me an advice on how to get rid of my older TV? Basically, we have a 9 yr old Philips 42" plasma 1080i not 1080p TV that I want to replace with this Samsung one.
It's still in great condition, has a great in built speaker with deep bass. But it's a lot bulkier compared to the LED TVs these days.

Should I bother putting it on Gumtree or just take it to the local dump?

Any TV expert?

LG 42LB561V 42" LED TV or Samsung UE40H5000 40" LED TV ???

Both 1080p, 100hz, only difference is 2more inches on the LG model. But Samsung has better quality?

If you read the reply which someone has put it says.....
Amazon Customer says:
You must be one hell of a person to satisfy "mate".
You actually have 15 pages of "reviews" and on every one of them you have given 1 star.
Now that maybe bad enough, but, on most of them, you have used either the words, "CHEAP" or "JUNK".
I suggest you bog off and grow up a bit.

Haha the comment wasn't very serious either I don't think? Nothing specifically garbage about this TV, it's cheap, good specs, best around for 42", and it's xmas!

If it works, dont dump it !
1. Take it to your local charity shop
2. Sell it on gumtree and give the proceeds to charity.

I sold my 8yr old Sony on Gumtree only last year.

I read that as "I sold my 8yr old son on Gumtree only last year" haha

glad I wasn't the only one then!

mixed reviews of this TV then? worth a buy? I'm on the look out for a good Tv

trying to convince myself I need a new tv as I just got a ps4... Just using a Sony bravia 32 inch hd ready tv at the moment... I Do like the picture on it though

Bought this TV a few weeks back for the same price, very good TV and the PS4 looks great on it.

If this is good for gaming, like a few comments have said, I will go for this.

Bought this just for PS4 gaming, I've found similar TV's 42" for around £300 but with a motion rate of 50 Hz so it'll have that bit of delay (Ghosting) where as this TV is 100Hz motion/processing rate anything lower than this and it starts ghosting.

Is it true 100hz or 50 doubled? I know some TVs double each frame to each 100hz

Achieve not each

does this come with 5 year warranty??

I've purchased this tv yesterday, and today while removing the stickers, I noticed the screen was a little wobbly. I mean if you gently pressed the screen, it would move around in the frame, is this normal?

Cold. LG

shame...currys not offering 5 year guarantee....i m sure they lost many customers for tv...

I have this TV now and absolutely love it. Everything I could want from a TV. I use my PC and Xbox One with it and both come out perfectly crisp and clear, no issues. I would definitely recommend it. If only the O2 Priority moments deal was still on which got £30 off a £300 spend, that got me a free set of speaker more or less.

Great tv, good picture with plenty of display settings and a bargain price

I don't think it should wobble, mine doesn't I would send it back!

I would like to think it is 100Hz each as I had no issues with lag or ghosting where my previous one did.
