Tip, visit Crucial.co.uk and use their memory finder to see which memory is correct for your Laptop, then choose from the available ones on offer from PC World. 667Mhz memory will work fine in a laptop having a 533Mhz bus and with Dell sometimes suppying 533Mhz memory on laptops with 667Mhz bus you may see a performance advantage from using the faster memory (in pairs)

Ick ick ick. I bought unbranded RAM from PC World once because it was cheap. It was rubbish stuff. Some components you can skimp on. RAM is not one; do yourself and your laptop a favour and get some decent branded stuff.

Looks like its PNY Technologies stuff to me, but by all means voice your personal opinion though I doubt PC World or any other major store could go on selling ram and no doubt fitting it as upgrades to machines they sell if it was as you say "rubbish stuff"
I have yet in too many years to remember had a rubbish stick of ram from any source, I have had some that didnt like it when I overclocked or overvoltaged but then I was to blame then not the ram which was probably graded down because it was marginal for the higher spec I was trying to force on it.
Personally I would have no second thoughts at fitting a stick of this to any laptop I own, unless of course I got the one stick that you bought recycled ;-)
