Strange, went through as £31.99 with minus £8 promotion applied
If you need Lightroom as well, I would say just pay for the Creative Cloud Photography plan.

This is Elements so aimed at the not-so-power user. Creative cloud is £99.99 on Amazon at the moment and only lasts 12 months. This lasts forever.
Thanks
Blast! Recently bought version 13. Good deal
thanks OP that has made my day
Fantastic find Buzz. Wanted this for ages but weren't prepared to pay more then £40 . Cheers

Yea... like I said only if you need Lightroom as well. You will probably need to keep updating the software so that new camera's RAW files are still supported in this case..
I have an older version which I started out with, but rarely use these days since most of my processing is done in Lightroom.

However, it's a good place to start with decent editing capabilities and correction. I did find the panoramic feature very useful for stitching photos together. The video editor is also decent if you need to make basic edits.

Raw updates are usually free, it's only when a major version change comes out you might want to buy the latest.

I think they give you a free upgrade if bought within 30 days.
You didn't want to upgrade it 6 months ago then I take it......

I wouldn't upgrade every release so 13 wasn't really interesting to me. I'm tempted with 14 though.

In fact, you're probably correct, I should have. I've just looked and I'm actually still using 9 oO
Brilliant buy when it's still £59 at places like WEX. This is a bargain. Was gonna skip this version but for virtually half price I had to bite

Cheers OP

£32 now for an application in advance of most users to use for years. Alternatively pay an annual subscription for a product that would melt an average users brain.
What next, everyone needs D4s with a 24-70 VR lens.

Really? I think lightroom is much easier and better for photography. And I'm pretty sure you can buy it as a one off as well? Or have they changed that?

The other poster was referring to the annual sub package from Adobe. Though yes you can buy it stand alone.
When it comes to editing I believe Elements has the edge while Lightroom is more a batch work flow type package.

I'm using 10! Not far off! Not sure what would be the reasons to upgrade to 14 - I'm sure Adobe's marketing has plenty of reasons for me though....

That is the thing, in 12 months a new version of Elements will be released and the previous version will no longer receive RAW updates for the latest cameras. So the software doesn't expire but you are forced to upgrade if you get a new camera, unless you use a converter which is obviously a hassle if you have a lot of photos. So the fact this doesn't expire isn't as big an advantage as some might think it is, as Adobe will do their best to try and force you to upgrade regularly.
Just did a search for "What's new": http://www.digitalcameraworld.com/2015/09/28/photoshop-elements-14-vs-13-whats-new-and-whats-not/

Think I'll stick with Lightroom, I've learned several good workflows from YouTube tutorials to improve my pictures.
It's applying an £11 discount for me (Prime member), bringing it to £28.99. What's going on?

Reviews suggest that this doesn't offer anything of any substance over PSE13, so I wouldn't worry about it!
Good price, be sure to remove the referral link before purchasing though.
Price gone up or am I missing a voucher code or something?
£49.99 - £10 now
That offer didn't last long. Back to 5-oh.

Oh well, back to GIMP. Someone wake me up when Adobe are on Linux.
Ordered last night for £22 (including a £10 promotional voucher for buying a £40 Amazon gift card). I have PSE11 and for £22 I thought it was worth upgrading.
I did trial Lightroom for a month but I was finding I still needed PSE. Hopefully the latest PSE (ACR) supports RAW conversion from Nikon D5500 (I am currently having to use DNG converter to convert Nikon NEF files.

Shows in basket as 49.99 but when you go to checkout it removes a tenner.
I'm thinking of getting this. Never had Photoshop Elements before but I'm enjoying the trial. It doesn't mention on the website but does the PC/Mac version allow me to download on both a windows and Mac but only use one laptop at a time or is it just a one time only download? Does PC Download also do the Mac or is that just for Windows only?

Not sure about the download but if you buy the physical package, you get both PC and Mac CDs with a single key. I am assuming it's a single user copy (didn't bother to read the license T&Cs).
Expired. Up to £60 now.
