Seems a good price for a PC tuner for Freeview HD - anything better or cheaper?

Someone will probably come along and mention the ones on eBay which suggest they do Freeview HD and cost about £5, however these are of course carefully worded deceptions and are all only SD (DVB-T) rather than HD (DVB-T2).

Seems a great price. Long shot, but, has anyone tried it? Maybe if you ordering now you can post a mini review here later on. Cheers

don't forget cashback!

huh? you posted this cheaper 8 mins earlier from the same shop basically didn't you?

This is a limited period offer - expires at the end of this weekend.

now saying 0 in stock, 13 due in 3/4days!

Yeah sorry, I posted one from Dabs then went to checkout and found it had £6.99 postage charge making it something like £60 quid, which I didn't consider to be much of a saving. This one was much cheaper for postage.

I'd love someone to post a review, I'd buy this if I had the money. I currently use a Hauppauge WinTV standard definition TV tuner dongle, using Windows 7 Media Centre as the guide and its absolutely fantastic, I've never had a problem with it. I'd really like to upgrade to a freeview HD one, but I wonder what kind of file sizes we are talking about for HD recordings and what can you do with them after in terms of converting to 720p/1080p MKV files

Still cheap if you only want a single tuner.

Mine arrived today.

All channels work great - even though i'm only using a portable in-door aerial. (though I am within line of sight of Winter Hill)
