Yes, but that’s the 6000 series which is a different class as well so not just an older model.

What's the difference between the 49NU7100K and the 49NU7000?

Not sure - seems a good price for a new-model 49", over £630 elsewhere. If you must have the latest model then this seems good. However, you can get the previous year range (MU) much cheaper - e.g. £520 for the UE49MU6400 from Richer Sounds - I have the 40" version of that which is a great TV

why cold?

Well, I'm very happy for you. I ordered mine on the 21st, still saying... Order status: Received. It was on 3 in stock before and after I ordered two, so I suspect they'll be cancelling my order. Fingers crossed not.

Hmm, that's odd. I got fairly instant confirmation when I ordered mine and received it within a few days.

This should be expired. I ordered two on Saturday night and they still haven't confirmed my order. I doubt they will tbh. Showing as unavailable now.

Didn't get mine and I ordered from two different PC World listings and one from another store (needed to replace all my ageing PC's!). All cancelled and refunded unfortunately. :(

Don't think so. Lol. All orders were cancelled. And refunded as far as I know.

Did anyone get the laptop in the end??

Money taken from account but no laptop. Oh dear :’) EDIT: just called them. They said they’re processing all the refunds but it’s going to take a few days to sort. He said that according to the spreadsheet my refund has been processed and I’ll get the money back within 5 days. He also apologised that the order got cancelled. Why not email that out eh PAL

Order showing as cancelled on account yesterday but still no contact from them since order placed. Not very good on the customer relations are they.

I meant the same thing support is no needed, software is already done, no updates though. Some people give lots of value for that :-)

Yes I would imagine you need telephone and web chat support to put them on your head and plug them in!

Mad catz bankrupted, that's why, no future support, but good stuff.

24 inch 1440p monitor. What a waste of pixels

Different make and models and although debatable but lesser quality in my opinion.

You could get 3 probably 4 for a 1ms monitor 24 inch from asus or a 34 standard lg ultrawide monitor for a 10 pound more from ccl for ASUS and amazon for lg

I think this is a good price, please can you advise where we could find this any cheaper? thanks

Loving the vive, my kids are addicted to Snow Fortress and eve Valkyrie.

I've got one. A great bit of kit, and some great games. It's turned my non-gaming wife, into a gamer chick now. It all depends on the games that you play. Plus with a bit of know how, you can make AAA games work with it, to give you some really good 3D goggles.

A place local to me has a few of these set up at £20/hr. Seems ok, but nothing to really grab you yet. Would probably need a decent gaming chair too for driving/flying games. Kids play "Shop Assistant" more than anything else...lol

Or £659 via the normal consumer site inc. VAT. Cool piece of kit, the key thing is the additional requirement of a pretty powerful computer/laptop to run the programs..

Full experience would be WIRELESS which adds 200 quid on top.

These things are pretty dumb. After 2 days of using it I already know how to make it better, how do the idiots that make this junk be so ignorant? For example at 00:01 on Saturday morning, the steps counted are measured for Saturday, when they are clearly part of Friday night. Baring in mind this thing knows when I'm asleep, it should know I haven't gone to bed yet. Just stuff like that, made by idiots

I was mainly interested in running Photoshop and web design programs, the processor will be great for batch processing and actions without the need for a decent graphics card. Well hopefully anyway?

It makes sense, this isn't the father it is the mother(board and rest of your PC) that you receive, and it won't leak as there are no water cooling parts.

I don't get the point of an i5 with a puny (180W) power supply. Why would you need a heap of processor speed other than for playing games or video editing etc? These types of use presumably need a decent graphics card which can't run on this power supply. I'm not knocking the deal itself but am genuinely confused about which type of user the machine is aimed at?

Yes did see that one but was on order and couldn't see a expected date of despatch and the trade-in expires on the 30th June

Actually was trying to say oomph, just looked up the meaning of omph on urban dictionary and its certainly not what I meant :)

Yeah read that too about amd being ok with 1.6v too. People saying intel 4xxx cores being the same, then othera saying any penium is ok with 1.6v ... others saying it's really just 1.5v but 1.6v means that's what it can be ran at... you don't know who to believe. With a shortage of "1.6v RAM killed my CPU" stories out there, i'm thinking it makes very little difference in most cases.

well I run amd so the voltage isn't really a problem for me and overclocking anything really has a element of risk but usually the risk is pretty low

I just read as much in my research. Read the same for the CL rating (this stuff being CL9) apparently CL10 (slower) doesn't make much difference. Some people seem to have an issue with 1.6V ram, opinions range wildly :| Some saying it's fine and others saying to puts added strain on your cpu, lessens its life, and voids warranties on Intels! What to believe lol. Also read to stay away from buffered ram unless you're putting it into a server or other dedicated workhorse type machine because it adds latency to varied tasks like gaming. At least I know more about it than I did yesterday thanks to this thread!!

you probably can but you would have to sacrifice timings plus ram speed makes very little difference so I just leave it as 1600

Done some reading and see people saying the 1.65V isn't great for some Intel CPUs.

Do not buy fit 15e's, I have one myself and others have also reported to have a massive build issue involving the wifi. I cannot get good connection if im upstairs and the router is downstairs. Apparently you can fix it by replacing the wifi card, but it requires removing the whole shell to get to it.

a leak?

I got this http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00HNQXCXG for £360 .. now 399.. apart from average screen with poor viewing angles it is great.

Well... I picked one of these below at Xmas time (with 1TB HDD instead of 750GB): http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing/laptops/laptops/hp-pavilion-15-n297sa-15-6-laptop-21921792-pdt.html They were at £399. So £529 for a lesser spec (apart from Win8.1Pro), I don't see this as a deal. All you're doing is paying for the Sony logo. I hope it's gold for that price difference.

Please notice who I quoted ;) Technically I drifted over the original comment X)
