The only guitar I own that is rubbish is my 1994 Korean epiphone les paul, aparently great guitars. There's a lot of rubbish spouted about guitars on the internet.

the three I seen were awful but it does seem the older you go the better they are/were. it's possible iv just been unlucky, and I'm sure different models and ranges are of better quality. enough to put me off though.

That's pretty funny in a sad kind of way... I have an Epiphone SG … That's pretty funny in a sad kind of way... I have an Epiphone SG Junior(?) which I got with the XBox rock game which is ironically fairly sturdy, if a little cheap feeling in places. Package was 117 quid I think(!)I have never understood the look of anything similar to this. Closest thing I like would be a Jazzmaster. My opinion, of course, matters not on deals website.

a guy I was in a band with had an epiphone SG and it was spot on so you can imagine my disappointment on finding how bad these ones are. iv always love firebirds and offset shapes in general but I'm really put off Gibson big time. I spoken to a really well known luthier recently and I told him about my SG and he said Gibson are probably better known for the poor quality than they are for being Gibson...

brilliant price however I can say from personal experience Gibson's build … brilliant price however I can say from personal experience Gibson's build quality is pretty bad. I sent an SG back about a week ago, the replacement arrived and was worse. got my money back and went to a shop locally the one they had was worse again....I should also mention I do not believe peach guitars would allow a bad one to get to you.
